(Raiton: Sono Ikazuchi kiji) - Lightning Release: The Lightning Cloak

Description: User channels lightning chakra in his/her hands. He then claps and separates his/her hands from each other creating a long cloak that could easily cover users body (10 feet by 10 feet) . The clock is a mesh of strong tight lightning bonds which are not harmful to the user whose chakra is used. He can then use this cloak to protect him from other jutsus by wrapping it around him or the jutsu. This cloak is super effective against earth style technique which are A-Rank or below, It can tear the earth into molecular level, which means the lighting mesh of the cloak will destroy the earth leaving no trace, but it disappears after it is used once.
Note:
~ Can defend the user from A-Rank or below Earth jutsus which are of reasonable size, not huge boulder but rocks, spikes, small earth weapons.
~ Can be destroyed by B-Rank Wind Jutsu.
~ Will disappear after used once.
~ lasts for 2 turns without use.
~ Can only be used 2 times per battle.
~ Can only be taught by -Blizzard-
So obviously this is good to use against Earth techniques, besides that, well in conjunction to that it would open a window of opportunity to strike depending on your timing. If this technique is active then you have a fail safe defense. In this particular case if the user were to be countering an earth technique they could merely let the cloak vaporize it and have your countering attack become a possible finisher.

This move is almost the polar opposite of the previous one. The same principle will be applied but have a different elemental weakness and strength. I'm also curious about this one, can fire be used in conjunction with this to make it a little more destructive flaming cloak that can be thrown or used to destroy a different element? That's if it turns it into a flaming cloak that is?
(Doton: Seis Fleur Kuracchi) Earth Release: Six Flower Clutch

Description: The user makes six arms appear out of a vertical portal behind the opponent ; two grab an opponent's legs and makes them fall backwards. Two pairs hold the foe up at their back, and a pair grabs his upper body. The pairs at the upper body and legs pull, cracking the foe's back.
Note: Can be used 4 times per battle.

You have a sadistic little mind. This seems to me like the earth performing a wrestling technique, it's almost creepy. This to me would be best used in a situation which involves taijutsu. If you're to strike from above somehow then use this technique it could be used to snare them, making them take the full force of the assault. Well that's how I would use it. Attack from all angles.

Description: During the battle user channels its lightning chakra as a long stream of thick chakra threads in the ground below him/her through his/her feet. These threads tear the ground, coming out as lightning chains and wrapping both legs of the opponent to shock them or restrict their motion. An additional chain could be manipulated to stab the opponent when he/she is fully tied up.
Note:
~ Can be used twice per battle.
~ No S-Rank or above Lightening jutsu in the next turn.
~ Can only be taught by -Blizzard-
Okay this seems like something of your style except a simplified version. You could either use them as the technique/jutsu states and try to snare from below, or you could make it either visible or play a trick on their KG making them believe that the threat is beneath them. Force them to leap skybound at their own accord into something you have prepared or are on the brink of progressing in.

Description: User chooses some weapon(s) and channels his fire chakra in them, it can be done through a distance, contact with the weapon is not required. After channeling the chakra, with just one Tiger hand-seal user makes the chakra burst into flames in a shape of thorn, which reaches out half-meter in a shape of spiked orb. User can simultaneously envelop maximum of 5 weapons with thorn flames.
Note: Must be taught by Blizzard.

Ooh, interesting. I see how it would be a perfect counter for someone in particular. The option to envelop 5 is actually a great feat considering you can use it 4 times per battle. It can be used both defensively and offensively. In an offensive and defensive combination I assume you could lace a shield and use it as a flaming weapon/shield. I know this is extremely simple and almost any technique that smothers a weapon is capable of doing this but this has many many more situations which would make this attack rise above many others.

Now these techniques are probably more like me. Blunt and brutal, straight forward and rash. However even these type of techniques harbour hidden agendas. Using these from a birds eye view point would really show the destructive force as it lays waste to the field. I'm curious though, can one run around the opponent while doing this jutsu, encasing them in a large tsunami prison that is shrinking quickly?
