Blind Madara Susanoo explained!

It's still hard to believe that many people in the base call Lord Madara using Susanoo while blind an "Plothole/asspull"
It is stated that you need to awaken Tsukyomi and Amaterasu (or awakened Mangekyo abilities in both eyes)
It's never stated that you need to have the have the sharingan activated in order to use it after it's awakened.
As you can see in the scans below it clearly shows Itachi using Susanoo while blind.
And notice how he said Susanoo awoke once he got Tsukyomi and Amaterasu.
Sasuke also says the same.

So in conclusion you need Tsukyomi and Amaterasu (or awakened Mangekyo abilities in both eyes) in order to awaken Susanoo but once awakened you don't need sharingan in order to use it. Now some of you may ask "then why does Sasuke use Susanoo with his sharingan activated" well why would he de-activate the sharingan when he can have it activated and be able to read enemy's movement, see enemys chakra in case they try to hide, and use Susanoo at the same time?!
Common sense. Well that's about it sort of rushed this so I might add on more.
And to those that still disagree and call bs and still say it's a plothole go play in traffic.

OT-I agree,it's not an asspull. One more thing,one doesn't need ama & tsuko to activate susano,but just any ability in both eyes. Itachi spoke words he considered true acc. to his knowledge,it wasn't a fact but what madara said was.

I also have this theory.

It was never SAID you need to have sharingan, or even eyes to use susanoo. Itachi(the first time we saw susanoo) used susanoo without even 3 tomoe sharingan activated. Nor has anyone ever BLED from useing susanoo(something that is characteristic of ms.)

Which the bleeding is caused by the intense strain on the eyes. As susanoo doesnt cause bleeding, we can conclude that it doesnt strain the eyes, which means it is unlikely a eye technique.

My personal theory, is that susanoo, is the uchiha brain chakra, reacting to the uchihas body(instead of the eye). Basically uchiha brain chakra pours out from all the chakra points on the body. I think all uchiha can use it. However only those who have unlocked ms, have powerful enough chakra to be able to use it. (a uchihas chakra becomes more powerful, the more hate it has)

The fact that madara can use susanoo with rinnegan(and nagato couldnt use susanoo), and no other ms techniques while in rinnegan further shows that susanoo is unlikely to be a ms technique.


No matter what it was, I still want kishi to explain 2 things. 1. How did obito survive exactly. It couldve been madara, or maybe even obito unofficially awakening ms(similar to how sasuke unlocked 1 tomoe sharingan, but never knew it, and officially awakened it vs haku) 2. How did madara use susanoo without eyes.

If he explains it, then we are fine. But to leave a detail that large without an explanation, is not good for writing. Even if there are logical answers.
