Chapter 4- Just Like Old Times
In Manhattan, Elias, Rag, and Kaze pulled up ahead of the other shinigami in their truck, moving on towards the enemy alone. Both parties were now aware of each other's presence. The shinigami stopped, and slowly stepped out of the van, staring straight at the arrancar, who returned their gaze.
Elias: Well, this certainly is a surprise.
Ragnaroc: How is it a surprise?? You even said, before we got here, you said that you thought there?d be hollows waiting for us.
Elias: Rag, do you always have to contradict me?
?????: Do they always argue like an old Jewish couple?
Kaze: Yes?. Always.
?????: Incessant arguing is never beneficial for teamwork.
?????: Hey, you?re one to talk! You keep dragging me and this group of dumbass adjucas around the world to completely random cities, and you expect us to do what you say at a moment?s notice!
Kaze: Ugh -.- More obnoxious people.
Elias: Well, Rag, you know what I have to say to that?
Ragnaroc: I have an idea.
Ragnaroc and Elias simultaneously shouted out?
Elias: Wipe Away All Existence, RyuugaShokkingu!
Ragnaroc: Burst into Flames, Ryuujin!
Rag?s blade erupted into fire, and an explosion of red raitsu enveloped him, covering him in red dragon armor. In an explosion of dark red raitsu, Elias?s Zanpakuto changed into two daggers.
Flames shot out of Rag?s Zanpakuto at the taller figure, completely engulfing him, and large blasts of dark red lightning shot out of Elias?s daggers at the same figure.
The smaller figure?s expression quickly changed to one of astonishment at the speed at which these two shinigami had released their Zanpakutos and had attacked her leader. Even Kaze was surprised.
?????: Well, well, well.
Rag and Elias quickly turned around to find their opponent standing behind them with his Zanpakuto drawn, unscathed.
Ragnaroc: *Thinks: He?s fast*
?????: *Thinks: When did he do that?

Elias: *Thinks: Damnit, Rag, you were too slow!*
Kaze: *Thinks: Where did that voice come from? ?<_<?>_>?*
?????: Haha, you didn?t think that you could defeat the 4th Espada, Carthas Quizas, with an old trick like that, did you?
Ragnaroc: Well, it couldn?t have hurt to try.
Elias shot two blasts of dark red lightning out of his daggers to the sides of Carthas, eliminating any chance of simply flash stepping away, while Rag flash stepped behind him, just missing the lightning blasts, and slashed. Carthas grabbed Rag?s sword hand, and tried to force the down into the lightning, but quickly let go, his hand burned. Elias joined the battle, running up to Carthas and striking low with his knives, while Rag slashed up high with his flame sword. Carthas stabbed his sword into the ground, and flattened himself out in midair, only just dodging both attacks.
Elias spin-kicked Carthas?s sword, still stuck in the ground, while Rag launched a blast of fire at him at close-range. Carthas vaulted himself up off of his sword just before the kick made contact, dodging the fire blast, but leaving his sword in the ground.
Ragnaroc: Hmph. Not very careful with your blade.
Carthas held out his hand to the blade, and it quivered up and flew into his hand.
Carthas: I don?t have to be. Influe, Manipulador.
Carthas?s katana dissolved into a liquidy substance, and out of it formed ten long blades made of raitsu, floating in midair. Carthas himself grew a tail and a third eye, and sat cross-legged on the ground.
Elias: Whaaat?! O.O
Ragnaroc: This is going to get interesting.
Kaze: *to the fraccion* Do you wanna fight? O_O
?????: No, not really.
Kaze: Ok. O_O
Elsewhere, in the desert of Nevada, Goro and Roku approached a van equipped with a satellite dish.
Roku: Alright, everyone. Let?s start off with role call.
Goro: Goro, here. O_O
?????: Mizutoki, here.
?????: TOBI!, here!
Roku: Alright, and I see Yammamoto?s there, sleeping in the corner.
Yammamoto: ZzzZzzZzz U_U
Roku: How?s his dementia been recently ?
Yammamoto: EHEHEHEEEEEHE!!!!... ZzzZzzZzz U_U
Roku: Alriiiight, then? So, any news? Has anything been picked up on the radio? Or the raitsu sensors?
Mizutoki: Roku, we?ve been out here for over 100 years, and we?ve held these meetings every day. The closest thing to a raitsu signature that we?ve ever found was when that monkey that had been smoking that marijuana pooped in the satellite dish.
Suddenly, alarms and sirens started going off everywhere. Mizutoki looked at his equipment, shocked that it had actually picked something up.
Yammamoto: GET TO THE BUNKERS!!! EEEEEEHHHH, THE NAZIS ARE COMING!!!!!! *holds up a walking stick* REDUCE ALL CREATION TO ASH, RYUJIN JAKKA!!!
Nothing happens.
Goro: Thank GOD we took his Zanpakuto away from him.
Mizutoki: It?s a raitsu signature? it?s a shinigami?s?. but unlike any normal shinigami. And it?s close? coming closer, fast.
Everyone looked towards where the raitsu was coming from. They saw a small, black figure in the distance, and a large dust cloud behind him. The figure came closer and closer, growing bigger and bigger. Soon they could see that the figure was a man, dressed in a shinigami?s uniform, a Zanpakuto on his back.
Goro: What the?. I haven?t seen someone in a shinigami uniform like that since?.
The figure shot into the camp, falling face first into the sand, which quickly slowed him down. The man was young, but the look on his face was one of sheer terror.
?????: They?re coming for me! They?re coming for us all!! You don?t know what they can do: we have to get out of here!
Roku: Whoa whoa whoa, calm down. Who?s coming for us??
Yammamoto: IT?S THE NAZIS!!!!!
?????: The Espada!! The Espada!!! Starrk, Hallibel!!!
Roku: Hold on, Hallibel was killed at the battle in Fake Kurakara Town?. At least we killed one of them?.
?????: What?!? No?. no?.. what is this place?!?
Roku: This is the Nevada Desert. We are what remains of the Gotei 13.
?????: Impossible?. The Captains? I was just with them all: Ukitake, Hitsugaya! And? Yammamoto!! Captain Commander Yammamoto, you were there too!! Just a few hours ago!!
Yammamoto: Shut up, you nazi!! I?m telling you guys, that German?s got the crazies. Let?s kill him. >:}
Roku: That battle you?re describing? it happened over 100 years ago. We lost.
?????: No?.no?.no no no!!! My friends?. My comrades?. My family?. They?re all gone?! Dead!?
Roku: Yes? most of them probably are, thanks to Aizen. What is your name, Shinigami?
?????: I am? Zanji Uchiha.
And at that moment, Zanji Uchiha fainted.
