It's true that it was all plot but stilleverybody knew Kenpachi would destroy it, and it's pretty badass actually

so your complaining that Kenpachi Zaraki, whose already freakishly strong in the bleach universe BEFORE he knew his zanpakutous name, took out an asteroid after he learned the name of his zanpakutou? yet you don't complain when a quincy splits himself into two identical people, how when rukia's bankai basically forces her to "kill" herself, or many other different things to complain about?

Have you not read any other previous Bleach chapters? Kenpachi Zaraki was the only captain to achieve his status without a bankai by killing the previous captain infront of 100 members. Zaraki can fight on an equal footing with the other captains despite subconsciously holding strength back.

Now that he knows the name of his zanpakutou most likely he will be the strongest in terms of pure strength in the entire seireitai.

Honestly You just wanted to troll some people or your just an idiot who forgot who Zaraki is. I'm voting for option 2

I mean honestly, Should this surprise anyone anymore? Kubo has done this time and time again and honestly it keeps the manga going, i mean its sad to say but if Kubo were to just let Ichigo, Zaraki, Renji, and Rukia to progress realistically and at a more stagnate rate then they would all be weaker than most of the Espada this far into the Manga and we would ultimately lose interest in seeing the Quincy kill them all with the least effort. And with all the Characters that were already OP at the start of the Manga (Genryusai, Kyoraku, Jushiro, Unohana, Kisuke, Yoruichi) it would be even more boring to watch them just own everyone they fight. So the only answer is for weaker characters to grow and with such a limited time span that the events take place in, rapid acceleration is necessary thus A**pulls are an annoying but vital part of the Series.

I was pretty annoyed with the way he destroyed it as well. Hopefully Gremmy doesn't get one-shotted next chapter as I rather liked him and he was just introduced and also has a lot of potential. I want him either escaping or them both collapsing.
