Where do you think shinji will show up in the upcoming chapter's. In chapter 497
Page 7 it show's him running. Give me your feedback which current battle would you like him to be headed towards. I hope he is heading towards Renji and byakuya.

Joushiro will help Shunsui as usual.
Mayuri will likely help sajin.
Kensei will go to Soi fon's aid.
Kenpachi I don't believe anybody is stupid enough to interfere.
Unohana will go to where Kira was.

well he is a captain so he might have his own fight against someone...

Maybe I'm missing something, but by my count there are 14, 15 including Buckbeard :confused:

The match-ups so far have been:
1. Bambietta vs Komamura
2. As Nodt vs Byakuya
3. Driscoll vs Hisagi/Yamamoto
4. NaNaNa vs Rose
5. Fat guy with wrestling mask vs Renji?
6. Old guy vs Kyoraku
7. Guy with Knights mask vs Soi Fong

9. Black haired guy vs Ukitake

Then there's the long white haired guy and Buckbeard.

I'm pretty sure the only one who isn't accounted for is the Mohawk guy:

So maybe Shinji will fight him? Someone beat Rukia so this could be that guy

True, his Shikai is pretty insane. But I doubt Kubo will ever show him completely owning someone like that. It'd be way too easy.

I'd like to see him fight someone who can also confuse his opponents. Shinji deserves a nice lengthy battle for once

I think Shinji should go up against that guy who appears to have mind and/or body control. You know the one with the point tip shoes and who made Jidanbo attack the 12th division.

Or he could be the only smart Captain and try to help the other Captains get their bankai back and then beat their opponents as an united force coordinating with each others moves and abilities, as well compensating for each others shortcomings.

Refresh my memory, who are you talking about again?

It's pretty clear that the ones who will unravel the mystery behind the Bankai theft will be Urahara and/or Mayuri.
