I'm sure some of you enjoyed the chapters from the past 5 weeks(if I include the prologue). So I'll keep going.
Chapter 5: "Mission"
Tamo: This here is my Akumudō(Nightmare Path).
Kalin: I'm doing it for Linka. She deserves to see Mother and Father before she really dies here.
Ravi: Linka will be reincarnated as a human in the World of the Living, with no past memory.
Kalin: I see, well, at least she can live another life with out pain...
Ravi: Yes, that is right.
Kalin grabs Linka's left hand with her right.
Kalin: Can I take what's left of her spirit energy?
Ravi: That is impossible. I tried with Mother, Tamo tried with Father. It failed. And even if you could, she would not be reincarnated since her reiryoku is required for transition to be reincarnated.
Kalin: That's fine. Then we'll be combined as one and I'll take her powers that way.
Ravi: That is also impossible. The same with Mother and Father, we also tried to inherit their own powers. It failed.
Kalin: We've merged together a lot in the past, and my father said in a book for us that if one of us dies then the other will get the powers of both...and maybe that's what the stone necklace is for. Mother and Father found the stone shard and put it in the necklace.
Kalin pulls out a necklace with a multi colored gem inside it.
Ravi: Whatever... What's done is done. I'm leaving.
Ravi shifts into ashes heading for the captain-commander's quarters. Tamo follows along. The Akumudō disappears. Kalin walks to the rundown part of the soul society.
Kalin: I wonder what will happen to me now...
She keeps walking until she gets to a clearing. Kalin stops at the other end of the clearing next to a pile of rock. In the first division headquarters...
Ravi: Linka, twin sister of Kalin, has successfully been executed for defection.
Shunsui: Oh, well done. Here's your next mission.
Shunsui hands a paper to Ravi. Tamo puts his hand on his twin's shoulder reading the details of the next mission together.
(After reading it)
Ravi: May I take Kalin along with me?
Shunsui: Yes, you may.
Tamo: What about me? Am I going too?
Ravi: Of course.
The twins walk together to where Kalin is.
Kalin: Well, if I'm going to be a Soul Reaper I've got to start acting like one.
Kalin starts to practice her power. A lightning bolt hits the pile of rock making it explode into tiny pieces of rock. Kalin forms a lightning bolt and turns it into a ball then throws it into the middle of the clearing.
Kalin: I did it.
The twins arrive.
Tamo(clapping): Awesome.
Kalin look at Tamo and Ravi.
Kalin calmly: Why are you guys here? [as if nothing happened]
Ravi: Another mission.
Kalin: What kind of mission?
Ravi: Extermination.
Kalin: Who?
Rai: Hollow of the Adjuchas class Menos.
Kalin: Can I come?
Tamo: That's why we came here to pick you up.
Kalin walks over to Ravi and Tamo.
Kalin: Then let's go, where are those Hollows located?
Tamo: The only way to get to Hueco Mundo is through Garganta.
Tamo snaps his fingers, and a Garganta rips open.
Kalin: Awesome.
Tamo: Don't take it for granted.
They head to Hueco Mundo.
Tamo: Some Adjuchas can be big as Gillian class Menos or small as a elephant. However, the Apex Menos is way smaller, our size. That's the Vasto Lorde Class. They are very dangerous, even one captain alone may not be enough. However, just one of us twins can take on two or more Vasto Lorde class Menos because we are Hybrids.
Kalin: I wonder what I'm capable of.
Kalin's hair and eyes change willingly.
Kalin: Let's get started.
Tamo: You are a Hybrid just like us. Back in the day, I was known for taking down 10,000 hollows in a mere day. 9,709 Hollows, 246 Gillian class Menos, 33 Adjuchas class Menos, 10 Vasto Lorde class Menos, and 2 Arrancar. I also killed the 13th Kenpachi, and became the 14th Kenpachi.
Kalin in a older female voice: Nice, but let's get the job done.
Ravi: First, we must search for them. Who knows, we might run into some Gillian class Menos, or even the rare Vasto Lorde. You can only count the number of Vasto Lorde with your fingers. That's how rare they are. And those Vasto Lorde are also the ones who have the most logic for reason. They have their own emotions, individualality. That's what makes them so dangerous.
Kalin: What are we waiting for?
Ravi: Hollows are far more frequent, Gillian class Menos, also part of the group known as Menos Grande, are less frequent, Adjuchas class Menos are even less frequent, and Vasto Lorde class Menos are far less frequent.
Tamo: Don't get too far ahead of yourself.
A distant echo rumbles.
Tamo: That's the sound of a Hollow.
Kalin cracks her knuckles and sends small sparks from her hands.
Kalin: I'm ready for a fight.
They all go to the source of the sounds.
A spider-like hollow is feasting on another hollow.
Tamo: That's a hollow whose hunger is becoming insatiable, so it starts cannibalizing. A good warm up, for you, I'd say, Kalin.
Kalin: I'll take it down.
Tamo: Yes, you will.
Kalin starts running faster than normal, with each step, lightning shoots out from her feet. The hollow notices, and fires a crimson cero. Kalin jumps out of the way with ease. It shoots a silky thread that catches onto her clothing. She can't seem to move.
Kalin: Huh?
She shreds the top layer of clothes with lightning and starts moving again. It uses its tail to whip around. Kalin grabs the tail and slingshots herself on top of the hollow and uses her hand like a spear and stabs the hollow in the back of the head. The Hollow disintegrates. Kalin does a flip then lands on the ground.
