Chapter 36: "Invasion 3"
9 months pass by. During that time, Kalin has graduated from the Academy along with Mitsuo, and Kat. They are lieutenants. Yanagi hasn't changed. Ravi's appearance has changed a bit, he now has longer hair, his clothing around the middle back are now ruffles/frills. Kalin doesn't live in that old house anymore, she now lives with Yanagi, and Ravi since she became a lieutenant. The gates of Hell open, and a large amount of reiatsu spreads. All the Captains and Lieutenants rush to the gate. August, and the others come out. There is a suspense. It feels as if someone is missing.
Kalin: Something doesn't feel right.
Then a figure comes out the gate.
Ravi(upon recognition): Wha?
Ravi's eyes are wide in shock.
???: Indeed, it has been far too long...Ravi.
Kalin: Tamo?
Kalin took a step back.
Kalin: Something just doesn't feel right.
May(Tamo): It's Code name May.
May(Tamo) has changed drastically in not just appearance, but his voice is deeper. He is shirtless, wearing black arm warmers, and grey shredded form-fitting shorts(like leather jeans). He now has a white tail with an arrow-head shaped tip, and horns very similar to his Resurrección. He still has his Estigma, his eyes are the same, but something about his eyes are different. They appear to be droopy(like kakashi). He has a tribal bat tattoo on his upper back just below his Hollow Hole. His pure white hair is much, much longer. He also has long, pointy fingernails. And the last thing, there doesn't seem to be any reiatsu coming from him. At. All.
Kalin: Captain, he's...
Kalin's eyes go wide. She stared at Tamo.
Kalin: You're not the same anymore... what happened to you?
May(Tamo): Let's just say I became the Diabolus incarnate.
(Diabolus means the devil)
Kalin: So it seems.
Kalin: are you staying here, or going back?
May(Tamo) becomes engulfed in black flames. These same black flames sprout on Ravi.
May(Tamo): Lanuae Magicae.(Teleport in Latin)
May teleports instantly to Ravi. The black flames disappear.
May(Tamo): I don't think so.
Kalin got a little defensive.
May(Tamo): Today is our birthday, isn't it? May 5th. Happy birthday, "elder brother".
Ravi: Heh. Right back at ya.
May(Tamo): This is my gift to you... My return.
Kalin's mouth dropped, and eyes went wide.
Kalin: I didn't know it was both your birthday today.
May(Tamo): Never told you, did he?
Kalin: No, Captain didn't mention this at all.
Ravi: Here.
Ravi gives May(Tamo) something.
Ravi: A dear friend gave it to me. You know who.
A tear fell out of both eyes at the same time.
Kalin to herself: Linka...
Her head dropped. Without mention to anyone else, Kalin left the group, and went to the clearing.
August: Shall we begin?
May(Tamo; with sadness hidden by pride): Yes.
Kalin spoke with telepathy to Ravi.
Kalin: Captain, they're planning to destroy Soul Society.
(Kalin learns how to read minds through her hollow)
Kalin sonidos next to Ravi.
Ravi: Yes, I know.
Kalin: What are your plans?
August: To conquer all the realms.
May(Tamo): I hate to do this, but I'll have to fight you, Ravi.
Ravi: I know you'd hate to.
Kalin put her hand on her sword.
May(Tamo): Well then, my Princeps, Mephistopheles, target Kalin.
Mephistopheles: Gladly, my lord.
Kalin growled. Mephisto smiled.
Mephisto: Nigra Flamma.
Black flames sprout around Mephisto, and shoot like arrows at her. Kalin blocked with her staff. The black flames catch onto the staff, and start burning it.
Mephisto: Not a wise choice.
Kalin pulled out her sword.
Mephisto: Oh, a Zanpakutō?
Kalin had an emotionless look on her face. Mephisto gets engulfed in Nigra Flamma.
Kalin: Thousand Swords.
Mephisto stands there like an idiot.
Kalin: Divide!
Kalin moved her hands apart, and brought them down. Half of the swords surrounds Mephisto.
Kalin: Explode.
Mephisto's Nigra Flamma completely encases him in his own flames. The swords also catch on fire. Only the swords near Mephisto explodes. Kalin puts her left hand out and controlled the air around him lifting him up, and then slowly closing her hands which makes the air around him more dense. The flames stay the same. A voice from behind speaks.
Mephisto: I'm still here. I was behind you the whole time.
Kalin closes her eyes and listened. Mephisto forms his flames and throws them like a spear. Kalin steps aside.
Mephisto: You will have to do better than that.
Flame spears are coming from the front too. From the black flames he used from the start, they're still there.
Mephisto: What are you going to do?
Kalin stood there with her eyes closed, but jumped at the last moment.
Kalin: So why are the Code Names trying to destroy Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo?
May(Tamo)[T to Yanagi, Kalin, & Ravi]: Translatio Cogitatione(thought transference). This will allow me to speak with you privately. Yes, you can respond with your mind. Kalin, they're called the Ordinis Cecidit(Order of the Fallen).
Kalin T: Okay, but why are they, and you attacking Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo?
May(Tamo)[T]: They want to conquer all the realms. I don't want to take part in this, but I have to in order to deceive them long enough.
Kalin T: How long?
May(Tamo)[T]: Just long enough. Ravi, you got that blood pouch, right?
Ravi T: Yeah, whenever you're ready.
Kalin T: Blood pouch?
Ravi T: To fake my death. When he's "done" with me, he'll take you somewhere else while I hide my spirit energy. And you too, hide your spirit energy, when he takes you somewhere. That way, they'll think we're dead.
Kalin T: Got it.
May(Tamo)[T]: Mephisto can be taken care of if you don't underestimate him. I'll tell you all about him, and his powers.
Kalin T: It seems like he's using a mirror of some sort, because even though he was in front of me...he said he was behind me the whole time.
May(Tamo) T: He has the same power as Ravi's Zanpakutō, to control time. But he doesn't have the spatial part that Ravi's Zanpakutō has.
Kalin T: Okay, so how do I defeat him?
