Chapter 24: "Kalin's Home"
Kalin: Sure. But you might not like the look of it.
Kalin walks over and take Nel by the hand and sonidos to her home, which was a worn down house that was falling apart.
Kalin: This is it.
Kalin opened the door.
Nel: Wow.
Kalin: This place is about as bad as living out in the open.
Nel: I... I don't know what to say.
Kalin: I've heard it all before from the other kids at the academy...all except Lenne. She doesn't say anything really to me.
Nel: Well, you and Lenne should see me tomorrow.
There was a knock on the door.
Lenne: Hello, Kalin you home?
Kalin: Yea, come on in, Lenne.
Nel: Hello there, Lenne.
Lenne: You wanted to talk to me tomorrow, but we can talk now if you want.
Nel: About your training, I was thinking Kalin would be a good partner to train with.
Lenne: Okay.
Kalin: Training...Why do you need to train Lenne?
Lenne: Do you know why I haven't picked on you like the rest of the class?
Kalin: Because you're nice.
Lenne stood up.
Lenne: Not only that.
Lenne removed the mask, and Kalin gasped.

Lenne smiled.
Nel: And that is why you two should train together.
Lenne: I know how to Sonido, and do a Cero.
Nel: Well I've got to go home. So I'll see you tomorrow.
Kalin: Can I come with you?
Nel(after thinking for a moment): sure.
Lenne: Make sure you take it up with Ravi and Tamo.
Nel: That would be the Head Captain actually.
Lenne: True.
Kalin: Well, let's go then.
Kalin grabbed Nel's hand and sonido's to the head captain.
Shunsui: Well, what brings you lovely girls here?
Nanao wacks him on the head for being ever slightly perverted.
Nel: Kalin wants to come with me to Hueco Mundo.
Shunsui: Well, you are the 14th's best friend, so I don't suppose you can't go.
Nel: Okay then, let's go Kalin-kun.
Nel opens a Garganta. Kalin bowed.
Kalin: Thank you, Head Captain.
Shunsui: You're welcome, Kalin-chan.
Kalin went with Nel. They arrive within Las Noches.
Nel: Would you like to meet the Espada?
Kalin: How many are there?
Nel: Ten including me.
Kalin: Sure. I wonder what Ravi and Tamo are up to, and how they will react when they find out I'm here.
Nel: They wouldn't be surprised.
Kalin: Which reminds me...do you know anyone who can fix gems?
Nel: Lavendael Moneo.
Kalin: I need these fixed.
Kalin showed Nel the gem of regeneration, and the energy booster gem.
Kalin: I also have the handle of a sword...I have no idea why I was given this.
Nel: Maybe it's your Arrancar Zanpakutō. Lave can fix them.
Kalin: Nel?
Nel: What?
Kalin: Can you take me to the Forest of Menos? I need to check something.
Nel: Why, what do you need?
Kalin: I want to see if something is still there. I also have to pay my respects.
Nel: Oh, your parents.
Kalin looked at the ground, and nodded.
Nel: Of course, then I'll introduce you to the Espada, all right?
Kalin: Thank you.
They walk to the entrance of Las Noches, and walk from there.
Kalin: I can sonido there.
Nel: I'll go with you.
Kalin nods, and grabs Nel's hand, and sonidos to the place she used to live. Kalin let go and moved some things out of the way.
