Hope y'all enjoyed the new chapters of Naruto and Bleach today. Today, I have a chapter for you too as well.
Chapter 10: "Intruder"
Tamo: What is it?
Kalin: I don't know, I've had it for years, but I have no idea what it is. I heard a story of a once powerful stone that got stolen, but I don't think this could be a shard of that stone.
Ravi: It's a Piedra de Regresión.(Regression Stone)
Kalin: ...
Kalin sits down.
Ravi: Piedras de Regresión are only found in Hueco Mundo. Your mother must've traded for it in the markets of Las Noches.
Kalin yawns.
Kalin: Maybe.
Nel: You must be tired, right? Let's set up camp.
Kalin falls asleep. They set up camp, and Kalin is still asleep. Several hours later. (It's always night in Hueco Mundo) Kalin starts crying in her sleep. After a few moments, Kalin wakes herself up.
Kalin: Hm...
Kalin looks around.
Nel: You're finally awake.
Kalin in a shaken voice: Yea.
Nel: You've been sleeping for a full 24 hours or so.
Kalin: Sorry...I guess I was really exhausted after that fight.
Nel: You know, it's always night in Hueco Mundo. Except under the dome of Las Noches.
Kalin: Why are you awake anyways?
Nel: I'm on lookout.
Kalin: I see.
Kalin got up and left.
Nel: Where are you going?
Kalin: I'll be back.
Nel: Let Mar go with you.
Kalin: I'll be fine alone.
Nel: No, you won't. What if a Adjuchas or Vasto Lorde come after you?
Kalin: Let them come...I just need to be alone for a while.
Kalin walks out of camp, Mart follows. Kalin walks up to a tree, and pulls out a knife, and carves into the bark.
Kalin: I know you're watching over me, mom and dad...I'm alone here, no more family left.
Kalin sits down.
Kalin in a whisper: Can't I get a little privacy without people putting their nose where it doesn't belong...who am I kidding? I don't have anyone anymore.
After a long pause.
Kalin: I'm alone. I should be happy. I don't have my sister bossing me around...all I feel is loneliness, and sadness.
Mar: Don't worry, you have friends.
Kalin: My "friends" killed my sister for no reason, and made me lonely...they never said why "their mission", their mission was to make me suffer loneliness.
Kalin was getting pissed.
Kalin: I hate it!
Mar: No, Linka attempted to escape. They had orders to kill her if she tried to escape. No matter how much they didn't want to do it, they couldn't disobey their superiors.
Kalin stood up pissed and put her hand through the quartz. She pulled her hand back out.
Kalin: I want my mother and father back...I want someone to call family.
Nel walks by to a boulder and stands on it sighing, and looking at the moon.
Nel: Isn't it beautiful?
Kalin: It looks lonely...like me.
Kalin looks at the ground.
Kalin: I never knew my mother or father; just my sister, but I don't have her anymore either...I am truly alone...no family.
She pauses.
Kalin: Am I not worth a family?...doesn't everyone have a family at one point in their lives?
Kalin looks at Nel.
Kalin: Nel, do you have a family?
Nel: Well, kinda, I have my Fracción.
Kalin(in a sad tone): So even you have family.
Nel: They are the only ones I have.
Kalin: I don't have any...not even in my normal state.
Nel: Awh don't worry.
Nel hugs. Kalin slowly hugs her back.
Kalin: I have every reason to worry.
A figure is sitting on the highest wall of rock.
???: The light of the moon sure is beautiful.
Nel: Can't sleep, Ravi?
Ravi: You know I have insomnia, Nel.
Kalin looked at the ground and picked up a shard off the ground.
Ravi slowly floats down.
Kalin: How long have you been there?
Ravi: Since you fell asleep from exhaustion.
Kalin: Oh. So you heard everything.
Ravi: Most likely. And there's someone who's been watching us the whole time.
Kalin stands up. Tamo wakes up.
Tamo: Did I miss something?
Kalin walks over to a pile of rock, and put her hands on it.
Tamo: Oh, you gonna take that one?
Ravi: Yes, why?
Tamo: Nothing.
Something or someone rushes across.
