Hey guys, I'm thinking about starting Fairy Tale because Naruto is soon to end. But I need to know that it's at least better than Bleach because I find Bleach to be a just "okay" anime. So is Fairy Tale better?
They're both animes with highs and lows. Bleach has alot of fillers and most people don't like them, however some of the arcs are really good in every way(e.g. the soul society arc). The main character in bleach isn't very interesting, but some of the side characters are and besides alot of action animes have this trait(like naruto). As for comedy I think fairy tale is alot funnier than bleach. That is one of it's re-deeming features for some of the crap you have to put up with. I only have one huge problem with fairy tail. That every bad guy in fairy tail is completely trolled, the bad guys are always FAR stronger than the good guys, yet they still win through the "power of friendship". I could accept this if it only happened a few times, but it happens 80% of the time and the "power of friendship" is far too emphasised. To give a naruto comparason it's like hinata actually beating nagato through the power of friendship. Between the two the I'd say that the first 100 or so episodes of bleach better if you want a larger emphasis on action, but fairy tail is better if you want something light hearted with some cool looking action in there. Oh and if I've put you off both, watch beelzebub. It is funny and the action is great, there is a bit of a repetitive joke at the begining, but they realized this and it only started to get better and better from there on out.
