Aizen didn't appear ~> Shit chapter.
On a serious note, I liked this chapter's progress.
Things are finally set in motion, so there's bound to be a major confrontation within the next few chapters. Liked Grimmjow's notion that their numbers wouldn't matter
now that Aizen isn't here.
Can't wait to see him kneeling down again.

What I'm kind of worried about is the sheer amount of characters involved in this arc. With the small amount of enemies, all of the upcoming fights would have to be 2 vs. 1 at the very least; and everything beyond that is bound to be confusing and fragmentarily or plain badly written. The huge amount also entails certain characters not gaining the focus or screentime they'd deserve or they'd need for the plot's sake. Luckily, Aizen's there to potentially mess up the odds.
I was also disappointed about Grimmjow's apparent lack of character development. Despite Ichigo having saved his life, despite all those years having passed, despite Hueco Mundo standing on the edge of total annihilation, the first thing he has in mind is revenge. I just loved the humble look on his face at the end of the last chapter, since it promissed so much; I was disappointed to find it turning into the usual, arrogant smirk again.
