death is cheap drama and cheap story telling for writers who do not have the talent to spark emotion in there readers another way, I don't appreciate it the only reason for excitement in this is Aizen, in who i have 0 interest, again a cheap excitement because kubo has nothing new

What a great chapter and my suspicious of Yhwach being parallel to Egyptian king came true.

Mimihagi is a fallen god perhaps it lost the powers and became sort of deity figure for the worshippers. Being in Ukitake it continued o feast upon his health knowing Yhwach will come back one day strong enough to beat Soul king .

The surprise is not about Aizen's comeback but Mimihagi is right hand of soul king ?

Interesting to see Aizen may help Mimihagi to take down yhwach . Of Course Ichigo is the one to defeat yhwach how this may unfold it is worth to be seen .

5/5 chapter after a long time . I just hope Mimhagi turns out to be Yhwach's long lost brother could make a good plot twist in the story.

Is Mimihagi also Ukitake's bankai or just some random Right Hand of the Soul King (which we didn't hear about UNTIL NOW, C'MON)

Bleach is just Deus Ex Machina and MacGuffins galore. It's getting a little tiring and worse and worse as the arc progresses z.z

But hey, at least Aizen is coming back ^_^

So the Soul King can distribute parts of himself? That sounds similar to what Yhwach could do as an infant. Isn't it strange that the first thing mentioned in the backstory of Yhwach is curing people of ''lung diseases'' like the one Ukitake had?

Either way, I was a bit confused and pissed at first because the ''right hand'' seemed like a plot-device, but after reading into it some more it started to make a little more sense.

OT: i feel like the last page kinda overshadowed ukitake's long awaited revelation. but intense chapter, enjoyed it. 5/5 for me. despite the "asspulls". . ukitake's ability is rather ... convenient.. kubo.
