Just hoping we get to see Ukitake's bankai.
And loved the Oyasumi Punpun-esque/Yume Nikki-esque style of Mimihagi-sama.

It would SUCK if Ukitake didin't show his bankai, unless that freaking huge right hand with an eye on it is his bankai then at least explain it's fighting ability. Not to big of a fan of Aizen so last page didin't shock me too much, I liked the Ukitake part tbh!

For all those who don't get it, the thing come out of ukitake is one of the Soul king's arms. Soul King probably foresaw Bach killing him and so has his other limbs as Gods/vessels.

Right. I wonder who is housing the SK's left arm? Either way, this was a great chapter. Bleach is slowly regaining its former glory.

And Aizen contributing to this war effort will be epic!! Can't wait for the next bleach chapters!! Heck, Bleach is so good now that I've almost totally forgot about how much I miss naruto!

OT: i feel like the last page kinda overshadowed ukitake's long awaited revelation. but intense chapter, enjoyed it. 5/5 for me. despite the "asspulls". . ukitake's ability is rather ... convenient.. kubo.

Even though it's "convenient" it works because ukitake's illness has been foreshadowed for like 500 chapters. He's been MIA all thru the manga and his importance to SS and his strength as one of the strongest captains has been repeated very often. A revelation like this is very much in line with all of this.

it would be quite awesome if the next chapter they show aizen and he says, " just as i had planned." i would laugh my ass off. also, so many people called it that ukitaki would take the soul kings place. we'll never know what the heck his bankai is though. dammit.

Lol how people just to fast and make assumptions. It was pretty early in the series estabilished Ukitake's illness and databook said that he was ill since he was a child. There is no asspulls in this chapter.
