What if everyone in the soul society is crushed!!!! That'll be so messed up If they all die And shinigami become extinct.
Seriously though this can give hints to either aizen helping ichigo or aizen being the final villian!!! What if after ichigo beats bach aizen gets some crazy power and is able to compete with ichigo.

PS if the writer wants anyone to die and really surprise the readers it has to be either Rukia or Inoue. If either dies ichigo will go berserk
