Seems Ichigo gets another rare and unique boost, dual Zanpakutou's. If I remember right, it was said that dual Zanpakutou's are a rare thing and one a small number have existed in all Soul Society's History. I guess that was Kubo's way of foreshadowing Ichigo's final weapon.

Dayyum!!! Ichigo looks sick! Two swords and a sleeveless Shihakusho. All he needs now is his Dangai hair and he'll be uber-badass.

IMO, his Bankai form will be him having long orange hair, a white body, Hollow eyes, a black cape & ripped pants, plus he'll be weilding one pure white long sword with a glove.
But don't know what he's Bankai power will be xD

IMO, when he goes to the person who created Kido, he'll learn to control his reiatsu (both Hollow & Quincy) and even learn how to perform/execute Kido.

Lol still seeing haters hating on the dual swords...

Is it that hard to understand...to me it looks like each sword contains a part of his power one for his Quincy powers and one for his Shinigami/hollow powers.

I really hope that it isn't in Shikai mind you so we can see some badass command and new abilities...still wondering whether or not the Zangetsu's have an element type.

Anyway another awesome chapter and yet again Bleach owns Naruto for another week.

It is not. People probably just see this as a fire-type because it was said it gave off a lot of heat, however that's just part of the sword-making process. When a sword is made it's always heated and then cooled down with water. So the heat reference in this chapter does not necessarily points towards a fire-type Zanpaktou, based on the situation it would just be a reference to the heat the sword gave out when it was being cooled down.

So no currently there is nothing that clearly indicates it's now a fire-type.

thought so, thx for confirmation, i think that Ichigo would be weird with Elemental abilities on Zangetsu, wouldn't really fit him as he is just physical type of Shinigami (meaning mainly using his Zanpakuto than it's powers considering he only has one which is Getsuga Tensho lol)

man... this was the worst and lamest chapter ever... what a let down... after all that waiting to see the "new" sword, what we see? the same thing with a hole in it and a kitchen knife... pfh... not to mention Zangetsu should have vanished so how come now there's 2? this chapter didn't even worth that 1/5 I gave it to...

When the chapter was proceeding I was like "show me the freaking sword, show me the freaking sword :devil:", for a moment I thought Kubo still wouldn't reveal it this chapter ~_~

Didn't expect two weapons, though it's obvious were it originates from: one for each of his 'powers'. But I personally like the fact a lot more that this is some kind of an Ichigo version of the legendary katana x wakizashi combo (the Daisho). I prefer that reference above the symbolism of his dualistic powers for what I hope is now finally his last sword upgrade.

Now considering those funny holes in the swords, I guess he might be able to fire the wakizashi using the katana as a bow in the nature of firing a Quincy arrow/Cero/Getsuga Tenshou or all at the same time.

I was like that too... so fired up to see the new sword then... pfh... don't even want to remember it.
