All I have to say is that Ichigo's mom is every bit as bad ass as his father.
Just: "Huh, he's too fast. Alright, then. Allow myself to get hit and point-blank arrow to the temple."
Though I'm genuinely purplexed at what the hell is going on in the series, now. The Hollow that Ichigo becomes is the first of Aizen's experiments (Aizen is like Orochimaru, apparently - in every conceivable way). Getsuga Tensho is... well, we don't know where that comes from (but his father used it... whiskey tango foxtrot)... and his mom's a bad ass quincy (because Ichigo wasn't OP by being a visored).
And maybe Fullbring can make a comeback... or perhaps the only reason for that to exist was to create an arc where Ichigo got his soulreaper powers back. Which would be kind of sad, because it was quite interesting.
From the Beginning, Ichigo's power has been referred to as a well with unlimited resources and once open it cant be shut off. Even when he lost his power temporarily they were never gone to begin with. His powers would probably be best described as a forest fire when awakened, but when attempted to be put out its never out, it just goes dormant and would probably be considered an eternally burning match waiting for the next thing to catch on fire. It plays a lot like Quincy powers, mainly the power of Particle Absorption. From the beginning to the latest Chapters Ichigo has never been able to control his Quincy powers and they always come out reactively. just like when he used Blut Vein when Juha Bach was going to incapacitate him.
I really hope that the Fullbring crap does not come back into play. As interesting as it was, i dont believe it to be a Main story Arc Power for what Ichigo seems to be, especially since he is now not Human at all.
As for that Black Arrancar Hollow, looks more like a shot to the neck since the last segment looks like the head is intact. We also see how Masaki gets that shoulder injury. It bit her at the same time. Is Kubo going to troll some Vampirism crap on us now that Masaki was bitten? Sorry i think that vampire genre of things were killed off by some Teenage book/movie crap that came out over the last 6 years...
Anyone else think that hollow could be kien? Tousen said it was the first hollow based on a shinigami. This also may explain ichigos bankai as it looks like it comes from that hollow. Also we are begging to see kisukes "shady nature" as kubo said we would. I think kien must have been isshins first son or something and after his death aizen probally turned him hollow
I have been thinking Kaien was going to play a bigger part since his strange death of being infected by a hollow... MY GOD... That hollow that corrupted Kaien (if the vampirism thing i was talking about was true) got inside him. It jumps into other hosts and eventually died with Kaien (or so it seems). I wouldnt doubt that Aizen and Urahara took Kaien's body in for experimentation to see what happened. If they turned it into the Vizard/Arrancar since it was originally a Shinigami depending how extent the hollowification went... then yes i believe this Black Hollow is Kaien. And that when Masaki blew its head off its shoulders and it bit her, i believe that its essence/soul got inside her as well. Of course the story would have to hold true still with Masaki and Isshin getting their thing on and *brown chicken brown cow* now we have Ichigo.
Seriously thank you for sparking more hopes that Kaien has an important role to the story rather than his random love triangle death involving Rukia.
