With each chapter Ichigo's and the others chances at winning this battle decreases significantly. Ichigo's bankai isn't going to help any; his only move is the Getsuga Tenshou, which is just a massive blast of reiatsu that only stands to get absorbed. Before this fight began I was thinking Ichigo was a boss the way he had the main villain feeling reassured about attacking the Soul Society when he knew there was little chance of Ichigo showing up during their assault but now I don't really see why he was so worried. Although he was probably just being more cautious than worried but still if the lieutenant Quincy can do all this then I'm afraid to see what the leader is capable of.
My god the Soul Society is ****ED! I have a feeling we're finally going to see some of our beloved characters killed. I'm looking at you Kenpachi; I hope for his sake he tamed his massive spiritual pressure. Speaking of squad 11, Ikkaku and Yumichika need to start using their full potential in battle, and Komamura you better roll over or play dead.
