That 6th seat gives me quincy vibes, he looks almost exactly like a quincy just had blonde hair, it's obvious he's evil and quite possibly a raging homosexual.

Am I the only one who thinks kubo is overpowering this captain guy though, I know ichigo hasn't REALLY gotten serious yet, but this guy seems to be at least vice captain level, if not captain, and when he was first introduced I got vibes that he was like Luppi, thinking he's the shit when in actually he sucks crap, but apparently he is being made out to be pretty strong, so like, whats the deal here?

I'd dare to say Kubo wants to show that Gotei 13 is going to not just lose...they are going to get butt-raped and then the Zero squad or Royal Guard will show up...I mean, if they didn't show for Aizen and he was insanely strong why would they show for some weaklings? He must make them really strong. :drive:

Kirge is much much much much stronger than a Lieutenant. Keep in mind that 4 (if I'm not mistaken) Lieutenants were plowed over and utterly destroyed by Ayon. The fact that Kirge took such a devastating beating from Ayon and can still stand (let alone ready for more) is just jaw-dropping in itself. Kirge is clearly at least Captain level, bare minimum.
