Chapter 27- The Devil You Don't Know
Ragnaroc: Elion Querdo, was it? It?s been a while since our last encounter, but I?ll tell you, you?re going to be the one who gets beat up this time. I won?t hold anything back.
Elion: Hmph. We?ll see.
Ragnaroc: This is a nice room you?ve got here. Did you design it yourself, or do you Espada have special designers to this kind of stuff for you?
Elion: I designed it myself. But that?s aside from the point. *unsheathes zanpakuto* We will put an end to this once and for all U_U
Ragnaroc: Gladly. *unsheathes zanpakuto*
Ragnaroc appeared in front of Elion and performed five sideways slashes with great force at Elion. Elion blocked the strikes with his sword and proceeded to stab Ragnaroc with the tip of his blade, but Ragnaroc dodged the jab and came around to kick Elion in the face. Elion blocked the kick with his arm and slid backwards. Ragnaroc flew forward, slashing at Elion from different angles and he did a high kick succeeded by a low kick to trip Elion and catch him off-guard to point his sword at the Espada?s neck.
Ragnaroc: What do have to say to that?
Elion: You seem different from our last fight. Stronger, but not only that?your tactics have improved. Have you been training well?
Ragnaroc: No, it?s not that. We were ordered not to fight at full strength when we last came here in order to keep our true abilities hidden until this time came. Now its time to let loose.
Elion put his arms in a blocking position and had them cut by Ragnaroc?s blade. He got up quickly and sped away. Elion used sonido again to go above Ragnaroc and strike him with a downward thrust which Ragnaroc blocked, creating a crater in the ground from the great strength of the two fighters. Ragnaroc used both of his hands to push back Elion and the charge at him with his sword pointed toward Elion. Elion tried to block the attack but barely succeeded, resulting in a portion of his side to be cut through.
Elion: So, you?re one of the top captains, right? That means your zanpakuto should be very powerful, right?
Ragnaroc: Exactly.
Elion: Then let?s see the true power of that sword. Release your zanpakuto, and we?ll see who the stronger one of us is.
Ragnaroc: You first. :|
Elion: I guess that?s fair. And yet, I don?t want to. I told you before, my release would scare the life out of you. I have no intention of using it anyway.
Ragnaroc: Then I have no choice. U_U Bakudou #61: Rikujōkōrō.
Six bars of light suddenly appeared around Elion and bound him. Ragnaroc walked up to him and made a small cut in his shoulder, but then Elion quickly broke out of it and blocked Ragnaroc?s next attack. He parried Ragnaroc?s blade they clashed sword several more times. Elion charged at Rag with incredible speed and struck down at Rag and missed, but made the sand shoot up in a exploding style when he hit the ground with his sword. Ragnaroc released his reiatsu and a red aura with a pressure that felt like fire surrounded him. Elion wasn?t that surprised but he complimented Ragnaroc?s great spiritual power.
Elion: Impressive spiritual energy. It?s far greater than my own and probably greater than the Primera?s, but that won?t count for anything in this fight. And you?ll see why soon U_U
Ragnaroc: Umm?0_o Thanks. *spins zanpakuto and catches it vertically* Burst into Flames?Ryuujin!
In Bianca?s throne room?
Bianca: Hmph?=|
Lara: Are you okay, Mistress?
Bianca: It?s nothing.
At Ragnaroc?s and Elion?s fight?
Ragnaroc?s sword lit on fire and a burst of fiery reiatsu surrounded him. The reiatsu flailed around and lit the entire room on fire. When the reiatsu cleared around him, in the midst of all of the fire stood Ragnaroc in red dragon armor. He pointed his sword at Elion and a blast of fire shot out at the Espada. Elion tried to block the fire with his sword but his sword was completely engulfed by the flames and then he was swallowed up. Ragnaroc was just about to use a technique when a light cero shot out from where Elion was engulfed, freeing him. Elion jumped out of the fire and charged at Ragnaroc with his zanpakuto, but Ragnaroc easily grabbed Elion?s blade and cut Elion across the chest with his own sword. Blood dripped from Elion?s chest and then it stopped just as promptly because the fire from Ragnaroc?s sword burned the wound. Elion jumped backward, but Rag charged at him and prepared to swing his sword.
Elion: *points finger down at the ground and charges a cero* Cero Luz. U_U
Ragnaroc: 0_0
The cero blasted down at the ground and created a huge explosion as well as a blinding light that surrounded the room, blocking Ragnaroc?s vision. Elion used that chance to jump into the air and fly up to the roof of the room where he blew a hole through with another cero. The sky of Las Noches was dark, with the moon shining bright as ever, blood red. Elion took his sword and pointed it towards himself. He opened his mouth and slowly forced the blade of his sword down his mouth.
Elion: The top five Sangre Espada are forbidden to release their resurreccions inside the dome of Las Noches, for they could destroy the very fortress itself.
Ragnaroc: (It?s different from the original Espada?I guess the Sangre are just that much more powerful.) So what?
Elion: U_U Condemn?
Elion forced the rest of the blade down his throat and when the hilt got to his mouth, he bit off the blade completely with his teeth and swallowed. His hilt melted into a white liquid substance.
Elion: Demonio Blanco
Elion suddenly puked out a large amount of the same white substance that his zanpakuto hilt had melted into and the liquid kept increasing in volume. Soon, it surrounded the top of the dome and some of it fell through the whole in the ceiling of the inside of the dome. All of the white liquid began to gather around Elion and then surrounded him in a cocoon. His spiritual pressure leaked out now through the cocoon and it was insanely powerful and heavy. Ragnaroc was completely shocked at the amount of spiritual pressure that was being given off by what was on the inside of that cocoon.
Ragnaroc: What the hell is this spiritual pressure. It?s impossibly large. And this evil presence?it?s paralyzing.
ELSEWHERE
Antono: *looks towards Las Noches* Elion?s released?oh boy.
Roku: ??Rag?
IN THE DOME OF LAS NOCHES
???: *sigh* Looks like everyone?s mobilized completely. Sucks nobody?s come to us yet, though. Are you waiting in particular for someone, Grimmjow?
Grimmjow: *smirks* Yeah?
BACK WHERE ELION AND RAG WHERE?
The cocoon soon began to evaporate and disintegrate until nothing was left but Elion. He had giant white, bat-like wings and sharp and long grey horns sticking out of his head. His face was very scary, and it was pale whitish-green. He was wearing white chainmail armor that covered his torso and legs all the way down to his knee. His skin was pale white and somewhat muscular. His teeth were sharper than the fangs of a bat and he looked just like a demon. In his right hand was his sword, a pure white longsword.
Elion: ?????
Ragnaroc: That?s your released form? 0_0
Elion: Yes?this is my zanpakuto?s release?Demonio Blanco. And this is?
Elion suddenly appeared behind Rag faster than the blink of an eye with his sword pointed at Ragnaroc?s neck.
Elion: my true speed.
Ragnaroc: 0_0??*sweat drop* U_U Good. Now we can fight on equal footing! *swings sword at Elion*
Elion: Don?t get ahead of yourself, shinigami!
Ragnaroc clashed his sword against Elion?s, and the force of both attacks were so great that it created multiple shockwaves that burst outward everytime one struggled against the other. Ragnaroc swung his sword and a wave of fire crashed down on Elion, but Elion flew out of it quickly, flapping his huge wings to put out the fire. Just the flapping of his wings was powerful enough to push Rag backward. Ragnaroc leaped into the air where Elion was flying and they clashed swords again.
Ragnaroc: Ryuuka Soshaku!
Ragnaroc?s blade flared up and a blast of fire came from the blade?s sharp edge and blasted at Elion point-blank. When it hit, a dragon formed from the fire and seemed to bite and swallow up Elion its mouth. Ragnaroc jumped back and prepared to seal his zanpakuto when Elion blew away all of the fire with his wings revealed a shield of light in front of him. He smashed the shield of light with his fist and pointed his index and middle fingers at Ragnaroc.
Elion: Sangre Cero Luz
Ragnaroc: Damn. Not again.
Elion fired the cero luz, but it had a brighter aura around it and was much bigger than the one in his unreleased state. It rushed at Rag with unimaginable speed and seemingly blasted Ragnaroc completely. When the smoke cleared, Rag was barely hurt however; his armor had protected him. He appeared above Elion and punched the Espada into the sand of Hueco Mundo. Elion went crashing down into the sand but came out unharmed. Ragnaroc landed on the ground/sand. He took his sword and swung it to his side, pointing at a 45 degree angle from his feet.
Elion: :| What?s next?
Ragnaroc: An old trick, but you?ll like it even better than last time. And I promise, it will hurt a lot more. Yoen!
The sand was superheated and turned to glass, and after it did, the flames that danced on the ground spread throughout the entire battlefield and almost burned Elion, but Elion flew into the air and flew down toward Ragnaroc with his sword pointed at the captain. Elion?s sword collided with Rag?s armor, but then a bright yellow light formed around his sword, engulfing the blade, and then Elion?s sword pierced through Ragnaroc?s armor and ripped through Rag?s chest.
Elion: Espada Blanca. U_U Now, I will put this battle to an end.
Elion?s wings grew larger and his sword?s blade glowed brighter. He held it upside down by the hilt and a white light surrounded him. When the light cleared, Elion was even more demonic looking than before. His eyes were blood red but his skin was even paler white and his fingernails were extremely sharp. His teeth grew sharper as well. Elion looked at Ragnaroc and gave him an evil smirk.
Ragnaroc: 0_0
Elion: The former 4th Espada, Ulquiorra Cifer, inspired me to achieve greater power than any arrancar. Unfortunately, I could only match up to the power of the current 3rd Espada. Resurrecci?n: Segunda Etapa
