Chapter 16- Infiltration (3)
A Ryoka entered the 4th Division?s area and hung around watching in one room. He walked out of the room after a minute without saying anything mysteriously. One of the division members became suspicious, so he went to the door and opened it, and what he saw scared him out of his mind. He ran over to another Division Member.
4th Division Member: Do you know who that guy was who just walked out of that room? O_O
4th Division Member 2: No?why?
4th Division Member: That guy?everyone in that room is?dead. Including our 3rd, 4th, and 6th Seats.
4th Division Member 2: WHAT?! O_O!
4th Division Member: After him!
Ryoka: >_> crap. Already? *runs*
The Ryoka ran past the guards before they knew to chase after him and he jumped over tables and through rooms as he ran until he came to the outside of that Squad Barrack. He flash stepped around and got within a crowd of people to blend in with them. The Ryoka then walked through the crowd and flash stepped behind a guard who didn?t even notice him until it was too late and the Ryoka slit his throat with his knife.
Ryoka: I?d better get out of here. *shunpos away*
The Ryoka was now clear out of sight, and he went into hiding safely underneath the grounds of Seireitei. After a few hours, he came out, when it was nighttime. He snuck through the 4th Division grounds and came across some members whom he quickly dispatched and assassinated with a dagger, some knives, and other weapons. The Ryoka turned around and about 20 feet from him was a woman with long black hair and a long captain?s haori. She had a sky blue obi wrapped around the waist of her normal shinigami robe.
Ryoka: *smirks* From your haori, I?m guessing you?re the 4th Division Captain, aren?t you?
Carlie: Yes, I am Captain of 4th Division and Relief Station.
Ryoka: Too bad. I didn?t expect to have to encounter you, but I suppose its no use.
Carlie: Normally, I wouldn?t want to fight you, but seeing as how you killed some of my squad members including my 3rd Seat and 4th Seat, I have no choice now.
Ryoka: Heh. At least I got the better end of the deal. If you?re the head of the Medical Division, then your skills should focus more on healing and less on battle. Thus, your swordsmanship is not that great.
Carlie: U_U
Ryoka: Got nothing to say?
Carlie: You?re right about one thing?my abilities focus more on healing, but???
Suddenly Carlie appeared behind the Ryoka, sheathing her zanpakuto.
Carlie: You should never judge a book by its cover?
The Ryoka screamed in pain as his arm suddenly fell off. He clenched his other fist.
Ryoka: Looks like I was wrong about you, but now I?ll finish you. I?m a former lieutenant of Soul Society?s Brute and Assassination Force, Reikyo Shinri, and *appears behind Carlie with a knife to her neck* a master assassin.
Carlie: Is that so?
Carlie banged her head backward to hit the ryoka in the face and she spun around in the air after jumping and kicked him again in the face.
Carlie: Don?t underestimate me.
The Ryoka got up and laughed. He put his hand on his sword and unsheathed it quickly. It was a long but thin sword that had a red hilt and diamond-shaped guard.
Reikyo: I shouldn?t have, seeing as how you take after Captain Unohana. No matter, that?ll end now! *slides hand across blade and it begins to glow green* Punish (Batsu), Kieten!!
The blade morphed into a curved hook-like blade that curved again at its tip to point forward. The blade itself was green and seemed to deform slightly for a few seconds before taking its true form again, and as it did, it fused with Reikyo?s severed arm to replace it.
Reikyo: It?s over for you now.
Reikyo charged at Carlie with his new hook-sword and struck her zanpakuto with incredible power and force, and the very ground under them began to crumble. He jumped up and struck her from above, but she blocked the attack with her zanpakuto. Then, his zanpakuto began to glow green again and a wave of force suddenly shot out of the tip, pushing Carlie backward.
Carlie: That?s quite an interesting ability. O_O I?ve never seen anything quite like it.
Reikyo: This is the power of Kieten.
The Ryoka pointed the tip of sword at Carlie again and sent out multiple burst at Carlie, shattering the ground every time one was fired. He stabbed his sword into the ground and pushed it deeper in.
Reikyo: Burst Ripple!!!
Suddenly Kieten sent multiple shockwaves through the ground and they shot toward Carlie from underground in a straight line causing the ground to rip up and break in its path. Carlie was blasted into a pillar that quickly crumbled when she hit it and she fell to the ground. She wiped the blood off of her face and panted before pointing her zanpakuto at Reikyo.
Reikyo: I may seem weak on the exterior, but I?m the same level as a captain.
Carlie: Bakudou #63: Sajou Sabaku
Chains of spiritual energy suddenly wrapped around Reikyo and bound his arms and torso.
Carlie: We?ll see after this?Freeze the World, Yuukihime?
