Chapter 10- The Reaper
Terest: Caress…Flamenca!!
A thick mist suddenly surrounded Terest-el Granz and soon filled the room. Suddenly, his neck stretched out and hit Hisagi’s Kazeshini with his beak. Hisagi swung Kazeshini around and cleared the mist, revealing Terest as a flamingo-like humanoid creature. Terest charged at Hisagi and hit him again with his beak. Hisagi flew toward Terest and threw one of the blades of Kazeshini at him. The blade missed Terest barely, but Terest took advantage of that and opened his beak. From it, highly pressurized water shot out. Hisagi looked surprised and he took the other blade of Kazeshini and threw it at the highly pressurized water. When they collided, Kazeshini began to crack slightly. Hisagi flash stepped away and reappeared behind Terest and punch him, but Terest kicked him, extending his leg to push Hisagi into a wall.
Hisagi: >_< Dammit. You’re tough. And that pressurized water, it’s stronger than I thought.
Terest: Exactly! What did you expect? Did you expect it to be weak like simple, regular water? How wrong are you.
Hisagi: About a hundred years ago, I fought someone who used the same thing. His name was Findor Carias.
Terest: ??? Who’s that.
Hisagi: No one you would know, anyway. He once said, “Life is an onslaught of difficult problems. And the one’s who find the correct answers get to survive”. I’ll tell you the same thing I told him. Do you think you’re the grading people on how they do…give me a break!
Terest: ??? O_O
Hisagi: Renji! Get out of here, now!
Renji: Right!
Hisagi: I really hate to have to do this now, but it’s the best way to go. Ban…kai!
The air around Hisagi rippled with slicing wind and Kazeshini’s chains broke and the blades grew into larger versions of themselves. The two blades quickly combined together and formed one huge Kazeshini weapon. Hisagi stopped the wind and spun the new large blade around in his hand with ease.
Hisagi: Monsun Kazeshini. This is Kazeshini’s true power, and this…
Hisagi threw the giant sickle-shaped weapon at Terest and it literally ripped the air around it.
Hisagi: This is my ultimate technique! DIE!!
Terest charged his strongest Sangre Cero in both hands and it crackled with insane amounts of reiatsu and energy. The very ground below him began to crack and break from the pressure of the attacks. Terest fired the final cero blast! It shot out like a huge wave blast and collided with Hisagi’s giant Kazeshini.
Hisagi: Divine Monsoon!!!!
Kazeshini began to spin around rapidly and the air all around the battlefield turned into a slicing wind blade of powerful wind. The air reeked of wind only and the slicing winds were powerful and plentiful that Terest’s Sangre Cero was sliced to bits and pieces of simple reiatsu. The blade proceeded to attack Terest and when it met him, the blade sliced his head clear off. As blood squirted from Terest’s neck and severed head, Hisagi pulled the giant Kazeshini back with an almost-visible chain made of pure wind and he grasped the rod of Kazeshini. He looked down to see Terest as he fell down to his ultimate doom.
Terest: Dammit!
Terest’s head was still able to talk, but his body was severed. It was nearly impossible, but then the blood connected the two parts of his body back together.
Terest: Too bad, shinigami! I’ll defeat you with this last and final cero *charges cero*
Hisagi: I’ll dig your grave…U_U
Hisagi grabbed the Kazeshini by its rod and the two opposing blades on each side of the rod merged into one so that Kazeshini looked like a scythe. Hisagi charged down at Terest with the newly formed blade.
Terest: Take this!!! >:O
Hisagi: *appears behind Terest* I don’t like my zanpakuto.
Terest: O_O Huh?!
Hisagi: It looks like its meant to reap life itself :|
Terest: Shut your ass, shinigami! I’ll kill you!
Hisagi: Reap his life…Kazeshini.
Hisagi swung the scythe and it sliced right through Terest, and as it did, it ripped out his spiritual power and pressure, leaving nothing but a hollow shell of a body.
Hisagi: *seals sword* U_U
MEANWHILE IN THE REAL WORLD
Grimmjow grabbed Ichigo by the arm and flung him into a side building. Ichigo recovered in the air and kicked off the building to fly toward Grimmjow. He swung Zangetsu and it collided with Grimmjow’s arm, but didn’t cut him.
Grimmjow: You still can't get through my hierro, can you Ichigo?
Ichigo: Sorry Grimmjow, but this is it for you.
Ichigo’s eyes glowed blue and cut through Grimmjow’s hierro and managed to give him a slight cut on the arm before Grimmjow jumped back.
Grimmjow:
So you can actually harm without going Bankai. Not bad, Ichigo.
Ichigo: I’ve become one of the strongest captains in the Gotei 13 over these past 110 years, and now I will kill you for sure.
Grimmjow: Just try!
Ichigo flash stepped behind Grimmjow with incredible speed and he attacked Grimmjow with side slash, but Grimmjow blocked his attack and parried Zangetsu with his own zanpakuto. Grimmjow flew at Ichigo after knocking him away and he charged a cero in his right hand and shot bala from his other hand. Ichigo was hit with the bala blasts and Grimmjow finally shot the cero down at Ichigo. When the cero collided with Ichigo, it exploded and everything within a two mile radius was blown to bits. Several shinigami that were in that area died because they were in the way of the explosion. Grimmjow chuckled but stopped after the dust cleared, revealing Ichigo with his sword pointed at Grimmjow.
Ichigo: Getsuga…
Grimmjow: Save it, Kurosaki. You’ll never win like this.
Grimmjow was right. Ichigo was bleeding in several places and was badly beat up. His face and arms were covered in blood and bruises and his haori was ripped. Ichigo had no choice. He put Zangetsu out in front of him and placed his other hand on its handle.
Ichigo: BANKAI!!!
All the reiatsu exploded and the dust and debris gathered around him in a giant swarm. Grimmjow laughed even more now that Ichigo had decided to use his bankai. The dust quickly cleared in a surge of reiatsu that caused it to circulate outward. Ichigo was wearing a black robe and Zangetsu was now a daito with a black blade and pure black hilt.
Ichigo: Tensa Zangetsu. U_U
Grimmjow: Now the real battle begins. Hehe. *smirks* Fraccion, go kill all the other shinigami and leave me and Ichigo alone to battle. And stay away, cause if you don’t, I won’t hesitate to kill ya if you get in the cross-fire.
Fraccion: Yes, Grimmjow-sama!
The Fraccion flew away from the battlefield about 5 miles from where Grimmjow and Ichigo and they came to an area with nobody in it. Just the residents of Karakura Town. Suddenly, a figure that was using flash steps frequently came and dispatched one of the 4 Fraccion. He came to a stopping point and landed in the air about 15 meters from the other Fraccion. He had a white captain’s haori with the Division insignia of the number “2” written on it. It was Goro Kaguya, commander and chief of the Special Ops, and following him were about 100 members of the Onmitsukidō.
Goro: You guys are really unlucky to have encountered us here. My special forces will dispatch you guys in no time. *snaps fingers* Finish them off. U_U
