The Zero Squad/Soul King I can complain about, Bleach has been going on 10 YEARS...YEARS..and that stuff was mentioned in the very first Arc, so yes I can complain why he hinted at future content and never used it and just left fans to speculate for 10 years, I can argue this same point with Vasto Lords, it wasn't as early as Zero/Soul King but by god it was right after Aizen left and then he just pulled shit out his ass with "Arrancars are Vastos"

What else..Oh what about the whole thing about Ichigos mom? Aizen: "Its because your mom was.." and cut off by fighting and never revealed? LOL?

What about the whole Aizen: "Who do you think started it all Kurosaki Ichigo.." ?? So hes the reason Ichigos life played out like it did..but its never shown? Great..awesome..fantastic work..absolutely amazing

I was in your shoes one time, a hardcore Bleach fan ready to defend against any criticism.. but then I actually started paying attention and realized it was crap..too many holes..too much random shit..too many huge panels with nothing in them:scorps:

Oh not to mention that friggin nobody dies in Bleach, people get cut in half and live..what ? The only "good guy" to die in Bleach was in the newest Arc..Head captains Vice Captain, dunno his name as he wasn't important anyway..I like how Kubo made Head Captain give that massive speech about War to try and make us "feel" for that character

Agreed+ bleach is just shit after shit.. i stoped watching after ichigo defeat urruquial, i came back to see it again but u coulndt i got tired of the same bushit and plain character. boring to the hell. also i tried the habriden saga.. even worst. bleach is doom to fail.

Oh and what is the Habriden saga I never heard of it before is it some new Arc that only trolls in fantasy land can see or is it something that actually exists if so can you point me in that direction so I can read this new Bleach Arc called the Habriden Saga

Don't know if this is the place to ask, but what was so bad about it? I never really got far into the series. I think I left off right after Ichigo defeated Renji, but up until that point it didn't seem all that bad. The only reason I stopped keeping up with it is because I didn't like Ichigo. No point in watching if you don't like the main character IMO. But aside from that, was there actually something wrong with the series as a whole that led to it's cancellation?

Well, as many have said, the inconsistency in the anime is a primary factor to its cancellation. But even more than its inconsistency, was the anime's poor job of keeping behind the manga.

If I remember right, Aizen was defeated in the anime like 5 weeks after he was defeated in the manga. This, right there, proves the anime team did a TERRIBLE job of staying behind the manga. After that episode, I quit watching the anime altogether, as I'm sure many, MANY people did. I also stopped watching at times when long filler arcs arrived. The bottom line was that Bleach animators had to create alternate universes to buy them time to stay behind the manga. But even then, they still caught up too quick.

In reality, it was a complete disaster for a long time. The animators must have assumed the story was ending after the Aizen arc or something, because they sure acted like it when it came to the anime getting so close to the manga.

To be honest, Naruto does a much better job of staying behind the manga. They not only stay far behind no matter what, but they do a great job of planning fillers without having to create alternate universes.

Well, it's a nice post and I don't have any link to support my words but!
Before this last arc started there was almost a month break during which a few omakes came out. In these omake it was clearly stated by Kubo (it was an interview that was taken during that break) that this Final arc was being planned by him since long before. He even said that he started to plan it few months after Soul Society arc and during Hueco Mundo and Fake Karakura town arc he was gathering data.
So it was in his plans for 5 years already.
Moreover , he stated that since he wants to close many gaps that he created and answer many questions that were raised he isn't going to end this very soon. In fact part from the start of manga till Aizen's defeat is only a half of Bleach manga for him. That's why he made Fullbring arc...to start a second half of the story.
If he planned this arc for 5 long years I doubt he'll finish it sooner than that 5 years, I believe it will really take 8 promised years.

nah i bet its more like 3 or 4 years, or else the series will just be a burden in WSJ since its only supported with past sales with low rating with some high merchandise sales,

kubo said that 10 years stuff which will keep bleach safe from cancellation for 10 years even with low rating but it will be saved thanks to the series past sales,

because nowadays even with low rating but if the manga have great sales the weekly rating in TOC is nothing for that series like HXH and mago ATM
