Actually, there's no real noticable difference in his powers. He's still got that BS Deus X-Axis Machina phasing ability. He's still got lasers. He's still got stupid invincibility. Where are you getting the idea that he took out most of the royal guards from? It was offscreen between all 4 shutstaffel and the royal guard. The only one we know he took out was Nimaya. For all we know, Valkyrie killed them. Or Pernida, or Askin. Hell, Shaz Domino might have shown up and killed them.
