the quality is very bad to be honest. You're on the right track with placement.

Try watching signature tutorials on youtube and apply the same methods on your avatar.

Didn't see any ichigo pictures that I wanted to use, I did look though. Lol

First I'd say try to find better renders/images.

After that you need to work on your cropping. The Images would look much better if they were closer up to Byakuya. Your 150X300 Aizen is pretty good in terms of cropping.... it just isn't a great image.

It can help to post the original images used. That way we can see start and finish and better help!
