According to the latest chapter the manga is ending very soon as announced , when the bleach manga ends there's no reason for the anime not to return .

So expect an announcment soon!!

The anime was never stopped because it got caught with the managa, an official reason was never given, thus its ending is not relevant or idniticative to its come back.

In fairness, that was only because of the slow pacing of the Manga. If the anime started up again after the manga ended, there would be no threat of the Anime catching up.

After see what is being done to the naruto anime even after the manga has ended It makes me doubt that the distance between the anime an manga has anything to do with filler/continuing the canon.

sadly I feel that we may never see bleach animated again due to loss in popularity.. then again there has been less popular manga animated in the past but this was mainly in an attempt to boost manga sales
