spoilers, dude. just watch both. word of warning, though, one piece takes a long time to get going, but worth it.

One piece is about pirates and a dude who wants be the pirate king and find the one piece treasure, he accumulates his crew and sets out on an adventure which will have your arse glued onto the chair for a while.

Bleach is about a highschool, hilly billy, son of a betch who gains soul repear powers and begins to defend himself from hollows (evil spirits) and endures a powerful road which lies ahead, meeting new freinds and insane characters, bleach has a good story in the beginning, you might like it, don't take my word for it, tho.

Out of the 2 One peice has probably got the better story and I don't even read/watch One Piece so that tells you a lot about the Bleach storyline.

The fights on Bleach make up for the lack of story though.

OT:

One Piece follows the story of Monkey D.Luffy, a 17 year old that became a rubber man after eating the Gomu-Gomu No Mi(Gum-Gum Devil Fruit). He aspires to be the Pirate King and sets off to build his crew and find the ultimate treasure, One Piece.

Bleach follows the story of Kurosaki Ichigo who since childhood is capable of seeing Ghosts. He then encounters a Shinigami, Rukia, that saves his life from a deadly spirit known as Hollow, and in turn grants him Shinigami power when he helped her from trouble.

I super recommend both, but you will follow Bleach as this awesome manga/anime that was destroyed eventually.
One Piece is amazing, the best current Shonen manga.
