[Spoilers] Bleach 528: Nothing New?!

We pretty much learned nothing new this week from Bleach; however we did get to see how Ichigo's parents met....looks like we will get a more interesting chapter next week! Overall it was a nice set up chapter though ^.^ had some funny moments!

Well we learnt that masaki was strong, and that Isshin was a soul reaper not a human soul reaper like ichigo (i believe), and that isshin is more than likely (definitely in my mind) of the shiba clan

I kinda feel ripped off. This chapter didn't show me anything that I didn't figure out for myself. Though I suppose it's nice to have it finally confirmed.

I am confused about when Isshin said that Ichigo isn't a shinigami. He is at least part shinigami, isn't he?

Like Naruto, it was a cooldown chapter, I suppose. But I liked Isshin's involvement in this chapter. And Bleach is really the only manga where I like flashbacks. I like the designs of the characters in the flashback compared to the present. It really fits with what they would wear.

Exactly what I was thinking! Would have been better if more new stuff was revealed, but we know for sure next week is doing that!

Nothing new of course I already knew his mother was a Quincy and as for Isshin what else did you think he was not a CAPTAIN he is strong as hell

Hmmm it may be that he is only a partial shinigami. He was born as a human by his mother so that should technically make him a quincy over a shinigami, but he still has innate Shinigami abilities

Revealing that Ichigo's mom was a quincy did not need it's own chapter.... how he ended up with a zanpakuto and all that do. Waste of space really....

The chap bored me when I was reading but now like 3 hours afterwards I got a shock!!!


I have some questions:
1. According to Isshins words Ichigo is ONLY Quincy. Did I understand this right? ”You are not a Shinigami”
This will significantly increase the chances that Juha Bach is Ichigos Father!!! No….. Please NOT!

2. If he is only Quincy Yamaji (and Urahara of course) must have known. Why did Yamaji rely so much on him and make Ichigo even into a Shinigami substitute? He is actually an enemy!
That is all not clear to me!

3. (After searching so long for that stupid reading and meaning of "Minazuki" :T_T: ) I am still waiting for an explanation regarding Unohanas SWORD!!!!!!

Well, at least it wasn't that much of surprise that Ichigo's mother was a quincy...It was kinda obvious when he became a fullbringer.
