[Discussion] Blackbeard's Weakness

Did anyone else begin to think that Blackbeard will not pose much of a threat now. Considering current Devil Fruit users in the New World have a considerable amount of Haki, losing their Devil Fruit powers for the brief moment BB touches them isn't that bad anymore.

For Example:
BB can pull Luffy towards him and grab him. Luffy will then be a normal human for that moment he is being held. He can then implement Busoshoku Haki and punch him in the gut, or use as a defense for an incoming attack. Put that alongside Kenbushoku Haki and Luffy can probably prevent himself from being touched by BB.

What do you guys think?

How did Luffy get smacked by DD then if his KH is so good? All top fighters probably have AH and KH. And BB is a Yonko and one of the final antagonists. He is always going to pose a threat. And let's not even start about his DFs.

I sort of agree. Plus I doubt BB is going to train in Haki at all, he probably thinks his Dark fruit is enough to do what haki can do. I think a logia who is great in Haki can defeat BB. But that's my thought

The entire fight scene is a scenario you've set up in your head and you've convinced yourself that's how 'you' think the fight should go.

Anyway...Blackbeard is a Yonkou even without his devil fruit he was able to scar Shanks who wasn't caught off guard. Blackbeard with the combination of the Yami Yami No Mi and the Gura Gura No Mi is an unbelievable powerhouse he could cancel Luffy's devil fruit and hit him with an earthquake hit breaking his bones.

Haki is essential in the New World but it doesn't automatically trump devil fruits also Blackbeard may also have Haki he's certainly knowledgeable of it.
