[Theory] Blackbeard will have three Devil Fruits

He's probably talking about Kaido being called the strongest beast, which to him means absolutely that Kaido has a Zoan which would make it the strongest Zoan. Then BB taking it would give him the strongest Logia,Paramecia and Zoan fruits. It's an old theory.

He probably does have a Zoan, and a hella OP one at that, but I doubt it's as overpowered as instant regeneration.
Except Laws Ope Ope no Mi is the strongest Devil fruit as confirmed in the Manga by Doflamingo, Corazon and those random pirates that got killed. Blackbeard hasn't got it, haha, the theory has already been debunked
He will have the Devil Fruits that work as a great combination moreso than individual power. Yami Yami no Mi is awful as Logias go, only real power is the ability to stop other powers when in close contact, no defensive, regenerative or offensive powers of any note. Marcos fruit makes up for the regenerative defects and Whitebeards Gura Gura no Mi makes up for the defence and offense. These work incredibly well with Blackbeards "Kurozou" and "Black Hole"

Yea a Yonko first mate has a stronger Zoan DF than a Yonko that is obviously a Zoan.

Laws Ope Ope is the most sought because of it's ability to grant eternal life, the Gura Gura is still the strongest in power. I don't disagree that Marco's would be a better suit but the logic is Gura Gura=strongest paramecia, yami yami=strongest logia(because it can absorb other logia) Kaido Fruit=Strongest Zoan. Hence why people think he'll steal Kaido's fruit. I do like you're idea or way of putting it that BB is hunting down the WB Pirates, the way you laid it out seems like BB is trying to take over WB's spot.

It can't absorb other logias, it can stop them, but the process in which it is done is heavily flawed as said logia user can still fight him with superior Haki or use an attack before he can touch them. The strongest Logia is one of: Magu Magu no Mi or Pika Pika no Mi at this point in time
Unless Kaidou was the former 2nd division commander it isn't going to happen. I mean: Blackbeard only seems to want stuff to do with the Whitebeard Pirates and his old accomplices. If they used to be on the same ship then it is plausible, although this would give Luffy less reason to hate Blackbeard as he's a mutual enemy, whereas Marco is a friend

It's the ultimate power but it's not the ultimate weapon and it doesn't make it the strongest. That skill is also of absolutely no use to the user as it results in death, so.....
It can absorb other logia attacks to an extent and if the WB scene is elaborated upon it may be able to directly absorb out a DF. BB's Yami engulfs light so it's already an advantage against Kizaru. It also allows him to shut down a DF users abilities by touching them. Yami is essentially the DF counter to Logia rather than Haki.
He can still target Kaidou even if he was never a WB Pirate, that's just a theory. I do like that theory but it's no reason to say BB won't go for Kaido until we know for sure. It's never been mentioned about them going after Jozu yet though, if/when that happens then it'll be all but confirmed that he's going after Marco too. I do agree though it does seem more likely he'll target Marco and it seems likely he's rebuilding his crew as WB's which fits his cowardly image imo, not building your own name and trying to replace WB by stealing his crews power and territory.
I could definitely see it. As it stands, BB's biggest weakness is his lack of intangibility - it makes sense that he'd want to get Marco's DF to cancel that out. Plus, it's one of the most rare and powerful DFs in the series, and BB knows it.
I agree because considering blackbeards high durability, the perfect fruit for him is the phoenix so he can heal all the damage he is able to take. Blackbeards also said that he takes more damage becuase of his fruit in exchange for his op abilities (unless he just meant not having intangibility) it would cover his weakness pretty good. It does bring up a question of mine though, how does haki effect a fruit like Jozu's. could you cancel his diamond powers or does it just let more damage through?

It makes a lot of sense for Teach to pursue Marco's fruit, due to the Yami Yami no Mi's weakness. I dig it.

Its a possibility, I always thought Marco would play a role in ending BB though
Also, we don't know that Mihawk can't cut Jozu. All we saw him tanking is an air-slash that most likely didn't have any haki imbued with it. Need a better translation of the page, I don't buy the worlds strongest sword attack thing

This theory is plausible, but I'd honestly really hate it if it happened. The WB Pirates have likely been either hiding or trying to build their strength post-Marineford for the Promised War and revenge for WB's/Ace's deaths. They'll likely ally with the SHs, but defeating their two current strongest combatants just to make the villain needlessly more powerful than he already is? I don't like that premise at all.
