im not completely up to date yet on the anime , so.... has blackbeard demonstrated his powers with 2 devil fruits yet?
and also now that he has gura gura no mi and yami yami no mi , is he the strongest pirate in the world ?

No I dont think he is the strongest even after the two years. I personally think Shanks could beat him and so could Akainu. Despite having WhiteBeards Devil Fruit he is not as good with it as Whitebeard was and his devil fruit is only good against other df users which Shanks is not. So I think he is 2nd or 3rd best in the New World for now

He does posses the strongest two df..but we dont know how well he can use them. So if you are going by df yes he is the strongest..skill might be another story

Well he was portrayed sly he's not a complete dumbass he had foresight but gives the impression of thinking that brute strength can overcome anything? He probably got some more moves but from his personality I doubt he can capitilize on them. Still think shanks and his crew could take them on and I read somewhere that Kaido could to can't remember where and don't know enough about him to agree with it. Although I fear that Shanks will fall sometime in the near future :T_T:
