[Question] Blackbeard and Devil Fruits

I had a question about Blackbeard and it may not have an answer but I was just curious if anyone knew anything on the subject.

So we know 1 person is not supposed to be able to eat more than 1 devil fruit. People like to point out Blackbeard as a rare exception to this but I noticed BB technically never "ate" WB's fruit. He more so stole the DF power directly from his dead body and absorbed it into his own. We know when Ace died his DF did not spawn at the location of his death so we can say with reason that neither did WB's yet BB had gura gura within minutes of WB's death. So my question is a 2 part, part 1- Do you think BB can steal the DF power from a living host and absorb it himself or does the body have to be dead first? Part 2- Do you think BB can absorb more than 2 DF powers or is he limited to one per hand and do you think he would still die if he actually ate a second DF?

I was thinking 2 too one for each hand, kinda like how vander Decken was restricted to 2 targets at a time one per hand.

Well he kinda took Ace's while he was alive iirc but he either couldn't or didn't absorb it into his own power is what made me think about it.

Seeing as kirozu pulls df users to him I wld guess that what he is pulling on r the powers/core of the power of the df within a human so he can fully pull out the core/demon n if a person is dead it must b easier(as maybe the soul of the human is merged with the core) but knocking them unconscious shld also work(this wld border on will n wld explain why haki can negate df by suppressing the demon) IMO.

Unlimited Dfs. He can absorb powers from people : however this takes hella long time.

Also we never know : He may have had a fruit in his pocket under the covers

I theorize that it has something to do with the Yami Yami no Mi. Since we know two of it's powers are to pull in and infinitely store. It also had a direct effect on DF's, evident on how it can cancel their abilities. Now, how do we know it ends here? I personally believe he can also "pull in" the power of DF's from the DF itself and infinitely "store" it within himself or others. He doesn't really have two DF's, just the power of what he stole and one DF.

Furthermore, as we know BB does not share the same Logia properties as every other Logia user - the ability to turn into the element. Hence I think this is how the Yami Yami no Mi exhibits it's Logia properties: Because the other foreign DF power(s) would be stored inside the darkness, Oda made this fruit & BB a Logia, since he IS the darkness; it is stored in him.

Well first off it was never confirmed that Aces fruit didn't spawn where he died.
Id like to see some manga proof on that please?

It was mentioned however that Teach does have an atypical body meaning h could have eaten 2 DF and it could just be down to his body he survived. Evidence of his resistance to pain was him tanking two fire lanes from Ace straight through his chest. Also he managed to scratch Shanks, before he got the Yami Yami no Mi, which as a feat is very impressive. Its possible he tanked a bunch of hits and got close?

Anyway, I do think the whole two DF thing is down to his power or some knowledge he has.
And the only reason he can obtain 2 DF is to his unique body.
Also I think it will stay at 2, maybe 3.
Any more than that I doubt he doubt handle.

There's no concrete fact why Teach was able to absorb the devil fruit at the moment there are only speculations really...

There are a few theories I suppose though that make sense.

1) His Yami Yami No Mi gives him the ability to absorb devil fruit powers.
2) His body is unique in someway or form allowing him to hold more than one devil fruit in his body.
3) Because he is the descendant of a 'D'

I think it was stated in the manga that there are so many rumors surrounding the devil fruits that nobody knows which one's are true other than of course they make people hammers in the water. We don't really know much about the devil fruit origins either other than they re-spawn and give people powers. Just throwing it out there the whole dying after eating two devil fruits could be rumor you know in order to stop people from trying it.

We'll he's able to take others powers away while fighting them but not permanently. I think it's because there's always light outside (this could also be why he can't go intangible)The light outside weaken his powers since he's darkness. He took WB's DF under a black blanket. I'm guessing since there's no light under a blanket and WB was dead he was able to premanently steal his DF.

I think there's a limit to how much he can absorb. But if he miraculously attain Top TIER Haki then I thinkhe could store 10+.

And I think he is able to use all powers he has absorbed and can use them coincidentally.

1. He needs to kill them to steal it.

2. I think his limit is three devil fruits. He steals one at a time for all of his crew members and once he's done with that he gets his third fruit. He had a logia and paramecia pre timeskip, so I think the last devil fruit will be a zoan.
