It knew about the Yata Mirror and Totsuka Notsurugi, and that their combination would make the wielder impossible to defeat.
Not once did Madara ever mention anything about Itachi or the spiritual weapons "his" will supposedly witnessed in action.
The black rods, the black matter that Madara acquired after he awakened the Rinnegan and summoned the Mazou, how could it have been his will if the power stemmed from the Mazou itself?
That matter had its own conscience, it would make sense for it to belong to a power much higher and older than Uchiha Madara.
Now that we know he is in fact Kaguya's will we are left with one more question about the Zetsu's.
Who or what is the white and the Spiral Zetsu?
Could it be Kaguya and the Fruit working together as one entity to complete their goal? The unfinished business they left behind thousands of years ago............
