Zetsu’s Betrayal
Jumping right into it, getting over the fact that we were expecting Kaguya to turn up sooner or later especially since Chapter: 673.
However, using Black Zetsu was surprising, and confusing to say the least.
Not sure how it was done, considering Black Zetsu was created, and shown to be created in Obito’s flashback.
I can only theorise the following
[this is all my opinion and not to be taken as fact until proven, plus feel free to give me your own theories!]
:
1. Chakra/Will
Back at the climax of the Kakashi Obito fight in the Kamui dimension, Obito jumped back to the ‘’Real World’’, to which Madara did the following:
Forcefully taking over Obito’s body.
How was he doing this though?:
Ahh yes right he must have, [im assuming while he was ‘’Treating’’ an unconscious Obito], implanted some of his own chakra to dominate Obito.
During this incident Obito ended up looking like the following:
Exactly like Black Zetsu, who of course is a creation of Madara’s Chakra/Will:
Using the previous incident with Obito and how Madara tried to control him remotely, I will assume that the chakras, [or wills], are connected and can affect one another.
Now moving on
2. Becoming One and Dominance
As I mentioned earlier we have been expecting Kaguya to turn up since Chapter 673, why?
Please remember the following:
Madara on the back foot from a relentless attack from Naruto ‘’Heard’’ the Holy Tree and was told by a mysterious voice to absorb it, and of course we get the facial features of Kaguya in the above panel.
From that moment we have been suspecting Kaguya, was somehow a part of, or incorporated into the tree and once Madara had absorbed the Tree he had unknowingly united the following:
The Juubi, The Shinju Tree & Kaguya
The Juubi and Shinju Tree can already be considered as a piece of the same pie, however Kaguya can also fit into this, and I believe this is why she mentioned ‘Time to Become One’
Please see the following:
The Juubi was a incarnation of the Tree and thus are the same as the Juubi is a flesh embodiment of the Tree.
Kaguya is the one who ingested the Chakra Fruit which the Tree Bore, and thus contains an embodiment of the Tree.
Hence, ‘Time to Become One’
Moving on, please see the final hypothesis:
• As I have shown earlier, Madara has shown he is able to Manipulate his chakra remotely.
• Black Zetsu a manifestation of Madara’s chakra/will falls into this category
• Madara absorbed Kaguya during his absorption of the Holy Tree
• Kaguya now inside Madara had managed to ‘access’ Madara’s chakra in Black Zetsu and DOMINATED MADARA’S WILL
• This resulted in Black Zetsu now aligning with Kaguya
• The final scan shows Kaguya’s will spreading through Madara’s body:
