Because the rinnengan was already unlocked all he would have to do is wait until nagato died and take the rinnengan and revive kaguya himself.

I'm guessing he really relied on Madara's resurrection because BZ had a lot of faith in Madara as the key to bringing back Kaguya, making sure Sasuke gets a Rinnegan would require for Sasuke to wait around till old age like Madara and Sasuke obviously won't dedicate the time for that.

It bcus Madara seek peace and BZ convinced him to follow tablet way(BZ plan), Infinite Tsukuyomi. And Sasuke only seek revenge for his clan and not peace. Thats why.

All Sasuke's action before he know the truth was in the name of revenge and BZ not looking for revenge here but someone that can be manipulated to revived Kaguya in the name of peace.
