Black zetsu

Is there only one of black zetsu, when madara infused him with his will? Is he like the white zetsu fodders? Did we ever see him in battle?

cool=D but do you guys think he's a fodder like white zetsu? i googled and saw zetsu using wooden roots to trip naruto (lol) and later get one-shot by chojiro's sword (lol)

There is only one like everyone posted, their ratio is suppose to be a quality(black zetsu) and quantity(white zetsu).

Black Zetsu never battled, he jus "fights," off screen which is essentially him hiding in the ground.

He is weak and he is a fodder just like white zetsu, Madara called them failed experiments.

The roots thing is a filler, he can't really make roots that big.

Only the little twig that tripped naruto.
