Is anyone else here as annoyed as I am about Black Zetsu being behind everything? I know Kishi always tries to make everyone turn good, but now at this rate even Madara and Indra are getting off the hook. I'm just disappointed that the series barely has any villains anymore and that the blame is all being put on a faceless, blank character, with no real personality so that everyone else can walk out clean.

Kinda sorta do ... But not really.... While it is true black Zetsu manipulated many characters, that In no way means that the blame shouldn't be put on them.... They have their own minds and can think for themselves...

This whole Kaguya-black Zetsu ordeal has had a decent amount of foreshadowing... So it's definitely not an asspull.

Actually I'm happy that Atleast it wasn't someone who turned out to be disappointed like Obito, or too cliche generic villain like Madara. I always like this persona of BZ, he's always the one who intrigue me the most the moment I first saw him, being the most mysterious being without any sign of suspicious plus Kishi incorporate someone we've knew for very long time who was part of this new introduced FV like Kaguya, I thought this was handled very nicely done to Kishimoto, because this was an epic plot twist and no one see that coming.

Though Kishi's method is...questionable, I feel like that is a major theme in the series. The unification of all people through mutual understanding. Exterminating the Curse of Hatred. That's why the Uchiha are singled out in Kishi's little twists. Though it seems cheap/stupid/illogical, TNJ is really the point of Naruto. It could have been done better, but then Naruto would seem like a more psycho/sociological story than an action/adventure thing.
