I don't know if anyone remembers but when Black Zetsu came back to the battlefield, it was only half of him. The other half was pinned down by Chojuro.

and that half was never shown to reattach itself to the other. So the other half of Black Zetsu is still around or at least it should be unless Kishi forgot.

It didn't kill Kyuubi Naruto or Kaguya the first time she was sealed so that can't be the case.

Black Zetsu was sealed away with Kaguya. You don't seal dead away unless their Edo.
