black zetsu and orochimaru connection

This has probably been discussed before but don't bash me for it.Anyways, is it possible that black zetsu is somehow connected to orochimaru? I mean, we still don't know who or what he really is. Naruto wiki says that black zetsu was the one that influenced indra to go against his brother. Isn't that what orochimaru did with Sasuke? He took advantage of how weak Sasuke was feeling and his inferiority to Naruto and Itachi. He even created some of the scenes that led him to detest Naruto. This led to their infamous battle and the ones that followed. Identical scenarioto what happened with Indra and Asura when black zetsu was influencing Indra. So is there a connection and what is it? or is it just a weird coincidence?

Orochimaru knew too much. He researched the Leaf and studied the Uchiha Stone Tablet. It was no coincidence he found a connection between Black Zetsu and the Ninja World.

I think you're overthinking the manga a little bit here. Just because it's a coincidence, doesn't make the two related.

Orochimaru didn't really influence the battle between Sasuke and Naruto. That was a battle waiting to happen because Naruto himself was progressing at such an enormous rate that Sasuke believed he was standing still while Naruto just kept getting stronger. Orochimaru just happened to offer Sasuke a way to become stronger than his brothers, and in turn, become stronger than Naruto. The fact that Sasuke went with Orochimaru isn't a correlation to the same thing BZ did with Indra, Ashura, Hashirama and Madara.

There is honestly nothing special of what happened to both these characters or the fact that it is a coincidence. It's basically the art of manipulation. If you remember, Madara explained it very well to Obito about taking advantage of the darkness within peoples hearts. If darkness doesn't exist, you create it. It's basically something that both Black Zetsu and Orochimaru have used/done to achieve their goals.

I would say coincidence. Considering the manga ends this year, I don't believe kishi would include more plot. Besides that would be lame. Still I believe orochimaru could be the final villain.
