This breed of insect was created to be particularly strong against earth and earth based techniques; being beetles and having the ability to secrete an acid capable of metabolizing most organic matter and earth based techniques makes them perfect to fight against Mokuton users as well as Earth users. This acid, while fearsome is, like most acids, slow acting on living flesh and as such can be countered with the correct actions, leaving the same effects that would otherwise be produced by heat/fire which will basically be a burn. When the bugs are killed by weapons, or anything that leaves their insides in an liquid state; the bugs leave droplets of acid that affect whatever touches them. The user also sends out 2 small swarms of bugs that attack and distract the opponent from the threat below. The insects on the outside of the dragon release a supply of chakra of the user/opponent that they feed on, to protect them from A-rank and below attacks. Once the dragon get close, hits the opponent, the insects on the inside of the dragon begin to viciously feed on the opponent’s chakra. The dragon can also (with one more handseal) shoot out insects from its mouth (like a dragon’s fire). The second mass of insects digs 6ft underground, under the user and opponent (unknown by the opponent). And when they sense the user is under a genjustu, bugs clamp a nerve inside the user’s body; one connected to the toe or internal organs..(stomach liver kidney and pancreas...etc) depending on the level of the genjutsu.
