The gidou rods are pieces of the gidou mazou. They hold its chakra along with the Rinnegan's chakra and can channel it as well as absorb other's chakra. It possesses the same ability as Mokuton and it's basically the same ability as the nine shadow dragon sealing jutsu that comes from the mazou's chakra and extracts and seals the bijuus. These rods being in his body are probably how he was able to use susano'o without his eyes, as they were in the vicinity and likely resonated with him.

Nagato had his six avatars covered in head to toe with them as accessories and dispatched his chakra to them via the gidou rods in his back and body placed there by the mazou.

nagato's are A LOT weeker cuz even hinata was able to move them, as for also naruto pulling them away when got so rage and kyuubi

Yeah, but Pein only stabbed him with a few to pin him down. Madara covered Hashirama and Tobirama head to toe with them in all their tenketsus.

The black rods are Madara's will/curse seal.
With it Madara, Obito, and pain can use the six path Justus through it.
Obito/Nagato can't materialize the will themselves.
They use the one that was embedded in them from Gedo or Madara himself in Obito's case.
Nagato has also made use of it by making the six paths of pain, making him to channel his six path powers through the black rods into the corpse.
Obito/Madara can use Inyouton with those black rods as well.
Since they are both uchiha/senju, they have the sage's chakra to do so (on a smaller scale, through the juubi it gets bigger).
With it Madara, Obito, and pain can use the six path Justus through it.

Yes, that's all Kokushin. Years ago during an interview of WSJ-if I remember correctly- Kishi said that Kokushin consists of the users blood, but there is more behind it, I guess.
The binding power of Kokushin depends on the users ablity. However, these black rods are not an ability of the Rinnegan®.

Thats not the case Madara used them to disrupt chakra points so Hashirama and Tobirama couldn't move or mould chakra, Nagato only used it to pinn down Naruto so he could move him. as even when Obito used it to stab Kakashi and he was still moving
