because alot of black grow up in poverty which affects them in many ways just like the poor whites and rednecks who are just as bad if not worst there what we cal white trash

For the same reasons why Europeans were thrown in jails & looked down upon by the Romans ( divide & conquer ) When a nationality is robbed of there culture, language & history and is forced to build a country alone & than free after only 60 years ago they grow up under harsh conditions and become apart of a cycle. Its inspiring to see them rising out of this system as the years go by in such a short amount of time so to speak.

Look at what there youth is faced with and if they rise out of it they all break the cycle like naruto lol.

They do in 2nd grade when they're talking about history in a very general way, but anyone out of elementary school knows Columbus wasn't the first to discover America.

I'm just saying I can't seem to find any solid evidence to support the claim. I did a quick search and I keep seeing the same couple of sources from the early-mid 1900's copy and pasted on different web sites. As for proverbs the only one I'm seeing is “For a Samurai to be brave, he must have a bit of Black blood.” Can't find where the proverb originated from though and it seems to only be on sites with the same copy and pasted info from before.

Again not saying its not true, just saying it doesn't seem to be a well supported idea.

i don't know why this is getting so many reps... it still shows an acknowledgement for banding people into racial categories that have no meaning.

who cares what colour skin the person is, i couldn't give a damn.

for example obama
all the news channels "first black president"
couldn't care... doesn't matter what race they band him in, it's whether he was a good president what counted surely.

smh... I get reminded everyday of my life that I'm black....as if I forgot but I believe some people wander what people of a darker complected leaning have to offer or have offered to society... you know besides shoes and hip hop...so did I have a higher civic pride when Barack Obama got elected as president of the U.S.?...
