I called bulls**t.In the internet age, that page doesn't prove anything.Unless you can provide some historical records from japan proving there were black samurais, that page is just another in the long line of pseudo information spread over the net by people with clear biases.

Now did you know the first Batman was a jew?Really, I read it on jewsaregreat.blogspot.com that the original Batman was suppose to be named Bruce Wesserstein. But the federal government didn't want little gentiles worshiping a jew, so they forced the creators of batman to change his name to Bruce Wayne, made him taller, and took away half his fortune.

The jews you're speaking of came from North Africa and were dark ( as written in herioglyphics in Egypt ) the land Israel was Canaan ( which is also African ) Thousands of years of mixing and climate changes things.. That being said Dr. W.E.B. DuBois (1868-1963), perhaps the greatest scholar in American history, in his book, The n.e.gro (first published in 1915), placed Sakanouye Tamuramaro within a list of some of the most distinguished Black rulers and warriors in antiquity. In 1922, Carter G. Woodson (1875-1950) and Charles Harris Wesley (1891-?) in a chapter called "Africans in History with Others," in their book The n.e.gro in Our History, quoted Chamberlain on Tamuramaro verbatim. In the November 1940 issue of the n.e.gro History Bulletin (founded by Dr. Woodson), artist and illustrator Lois Maillou Jones (1905-1998) contributed a brief article entitled "Sakanou. ye Tamura Maro." In the article Jones pointed out that

Your argument is with great scholars us Japanese know what is covered up by westerns, also you might want to know the reason why Black Belt is the highest rank in martial arts ( it reflects the first Samurai's ) n Japanese culture, kuro (black) is a symbol of nobility, age, and experience..

Anyway, just a bit of truth for you..

+Rep to every nationality on Earth and all beings created by God. +Rep to anyone with respect for life. I posted this to not only show interesting fact but to add positive energy to the base. Unlike that previous guys post.

I was about to make a thread about all the hate that has been around.

If there was statistic about the most used word on NB that'd be HATE(R).

What up with all this ppl? Where is the love?
Then they complain about all the hate... when they are the ones giving it for free..

a gargantuan +rep for you... ;)

<3 to all you in the Base..

It's been a nice year! Best wishes for all of you, regardless of what you believe...

PEACE

Again, not really finding any evidence to back up your claim regarding the origins of the black belt. The two reasons I'm finding is 1) A martial artist began with a white belt and as they trained it got dirtier and dirtier until it became black, and 2) When they started using colored belts for ranking they would progressively dye the belts rather than use different belts because Japan was struggling economically. Since they had to keep re-dying the belts they needed to use progressively darker colors until they ultimately became black.

And no offense, but your sources seem to be a little out dated. They're all from 50+ years ago and had very strong pro-African agendas (not that that's a bad thing). Don't you think there could have at least been a little bit of a bias in their work?

I don't believe this tbh...

Its a nice thread, but I simply am not persuaded.
Allot of people claim things like that saying everyone is African and such or have African ancestry.

But thanks, I guess.
