Inspire many Japanese in Japan & Worldwide & another fact is we are aware that the first samurais were African. Its in Japanese Scripture, many people in Japan know this and mimic the African American culture.. That being said all nationalities are beautiful & I am greatful for every race & color on earth so no matter what race you are I would like to thank you for being you.

Interesting idea but it seems to be pretty controversial. For instance that link you provided says Sakanoue no Tamuramaro was African, but other sources say he was Asian.

Its an interesting idea that Africans played a large role in early Japanese culture but I'm not sure there's much evidence to support it. Though I suppose its not impossible.

In science& biology everyone in the world no matter what background has 1% African DNA if not more so technically speaking the bubble of truth can't be popped. I know my Japanese culture and our Proverbs and also why a lot of out hair is thicker as well. Manga writers do research and know this & the culture is respected very much so in Japan.

The world and every culture in it is beautiful that's the point.

They tell you Christopher Columbus discovered America also? I know my culture, go to Japan and ask around. Study Japanese Proverbs.

If they look like this in the 1800's while mix with other Japanese think of how they look 700 years earlier? Anyway the message got across, you're a creation of God so you're beautiful we can now ignore the previous thread :)

Interesting. I gained more knowledge today.

That's right people, theres no a supreme race on this surface of Earth. If you think your race is supreme than the others, then you are wrong.

They do in 2nd grade when they're talking about history in a very general way, but anyone out of elementary school knows Columbus wasn't the first to discover America.

I'm just saying I can't seem to find any solid evidence to support the claim. I did a quick search and I keep seeing the same couple of sources from the early-mid 1900's copy and pasted on different web sites. As for proverbs the only one I'm seeing is “For a Samurai to be brave, he must have a bit of Black blood.” Can't find where the proverb originated from though and it seems to only be on sites with the same copy and pasted info from before.

Again not saying its not true, just saying it doesn't seem to be a well supported idea.

Native Americans/First Nation Americans were actually descended from Asians themselves... The first Europeans to discover America were actually Vikings... some hundred years before Columbus who actually first landed in the West Indies... Native americans were branded Indians because they believed they had sailed around the world and landed in India!

Np man! Thing is.. most countries bend their own histories in order to maintain a sense of national pride/superiority... Naturally these things are farcical.

To me personally... I don't see race... I live and have always lived in one of the most diverse parts of london... I just see people being people... I actually can't say that have any preconceptions about it either... If one must... a person should only be judged by the substance of their character! (that sounds familiar)...

Having said that... it would be self defeating to have any prejudice anyway! I'm a mix of so many different people!
