They aren't really people, pokemon are like some weird oversized animals with magical powers.

Probably someone became high and watched his cat do stuff and came up with pokemon.

I haven't seen a black person in Medabots, Digimon, Bdamon or Beyblade

Duh!!! It's obvious why Black guys are in Kumo.....
Kishi created a manga based on Japs..(I don't think I've seen a black Jap before) Japs are white but he decided to create black shinobis because there are black ppl on earth..... Kumo just happens to be the village where black shinobis are found.... Personally I think it's kinda cool... considering I'm also black!!!
