Black panther trailer - the revolution will not be televised

I forgot to make this when it originally came out. I haven’t heard or seen anyone care so I’ll brong it up.

Why was the the revolution will not be televised used for Black Panther trailer? That song basically has not connection to it with the sole exception that the Black Panthers (not comic) embraced it.

Is this really how they are manipulating the black community?

I personally do not connect Africans Americans (black) with Africans. They are two separate people and diverge in culture and history.

I would be classified as mestizo. Mixed with Mexican Indian and European, and some Chinese. Color wise, I’m brown skin Mexican American.

Why do I care? I got into black politics on Youtube. But people are not discussing this blatant pandering marketing. This is basically cultural appropriation.

I thought it would be an interesting topic for discussion but people are not reading into it. They just like the song.
