some of you thought he would be literally black, obviously thats not the case. But why is Mai there? Where is pan, Gotenks? Did Goku from uni. 6 fuse with goku from uni. 7.? hence "black goku".

Does this mean universe 6 vegeta never went to earth? is he nice and kind on planet salad? the complete opposite of universe 7 vegeta.

If that's from the Android timeline, there's no wonder Pan/Gotenks aren't there.

Mai being there, while unlikely, isn't impossible. She is around the same age as Trunks in the normal timeline, and if the wish for youth still occurred in the Androids timeline, there's no reason she wouldn't be then. For example, they could have made the wish during the three year timeskip between Frieza arriving on earth and the Androids first appearing. If the wish turned them into babies (remember, they only wished for "youth"), then they would be the same age as Trunks. It still wouldnt explain why she suddenly became friends with trunks.

As for what exactly Black Goku is, we still have no idea. Timelines and Multiverses are different, so he's not just the universe 6 Goku. Plus, i'm thinking it's a mistranslation of Dark Goku, because that sounds better. It's possible he's the universe 6 Goku from the Androids timeline, in which case we're ****ed since there's actually 4 of him. Of he might be something completely different.


And finally, WHY IS TRUNKS' HAIR BLUE NOW.

The wish for Youth isn't part of GT. It's only a plot hole if you assume that GT is following the same off-panel events as Super. The first time the Pilaf Gang showed up as children was in Battle of Gods, and that was the first time it was known they wished for youth. Their appearance in GT is irrelevant, since it's a different story entirely.

In the Android Timeline, Goku dies, and stays dead since the dragon balls cant reverse natural death. Time Travel in dragonball works on Multiverse theory. Here's Gohan explaining it, so i don't have to. [

If we're being techical, the multiple timelines exist seperately from the multiple universes. There should be a 6th Universe in the Androids timeline. But then you realise that there are now 48 universes in Dragonball, and your brain starts hurting.

If I'm not mistaken, Trunks said whatever happens in the original timeline won't change his timeline. It's actually impossible for Mai to be that young. Trunks timeline didn't have the Dragon Balls due to Piccolo dying.

Unless it's not Trunks from the Cell Saga. Then I guess it would make some sense.

Toriyama said he's doesn't worry about stuff like hair color, or style. Bulma's hair was colored blue and purple in the manga. Which probably means Bulma's hair should have been purple, but then again Toriyama doesn't worry about stuff like that.

I guess since the anime kept her hair blue, it would make sense that Trunks hair is blue too.

As odd as it seems purple and blue hair for Trunks both make sense, tbh.

was that a real episode or parody? im really not sure. But what Gohan explained confused me even more. so trunks timeline is different from Goku timeline, and the timeline where he went back previously before the original future trunks. which make 3 timelines that we know of totaling 36 universe.

So is the second future trunks timeline in our universe 7 universe and just on a separate timeframe, or since its on a separate time frame, that makes it a separate universe? Does that mean when Trunks originally went back in time, he created more timelines, or more universe? Which is why Trunks couldn't change his own universe, because by changing it, it would simply create another universe?

EDIT: did my math a little wrong there lol i only came up with 36, where does the 48 come from? am i missing a future trunks lol?
