Eh, let people do what they do. The dollar is a special thing here, especially in this economy. This insane day of sales and people going nuts will continue on and on xd
I've done it once with a friend of mine and it was kinda fun (save some money). Now I already had a tent from years ago,and it didn't cost me $300 lol.Black Friday is the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, traditionally the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. On this day, most major retailers open extremely early and offer promotional sales to kick off the holiday shopping season, similar to Boxing Day sales in many Commonwealth Nations. Black Friday is not an official holiday, but many non-retail employers also observe this day as a holiday along with Thanksgiving, giving their employees the day off, thereby increasing the number of potential shoppers.
The day's name originated in Philadelphia, where it originally was used to describe the heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicle traffic which would occur on the day after Thanksgiving.Use of the term started before 1961 and began to see broader use outside Philadelphia around 1975. Later an alternative explanation began to be offered: that "Black Friday" indicates the point at which retailers begin to turn a profit, or are "in the black".
For many years, it was common for retailers to open at 6:00 a.m., but in the late 2000s many had crept to 5:00 or even 4:00. This was taken to a new extreme in 2011, when several retailers (including Target, Kohls, Macy's, Best Buy, and Bealls) opened at midnight for the first time. In 2012, Walmart led several other retailers in announcing it would open its stores at 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day,prompting calls for a walkout among some workers.
Hihihi wait when your oil is outBlack firday is for poor people, nuff said. Norway doesn't have such shit because we are rich enough
Don't get me wrong, I'd go out there too if I get something with a huge discount, but I wouldn't run, push, jump, scream like a brain-dead consumer, that's all. And that's exactly what a lot of those ppl do.We get that people hate black friday, yeesh. It's not that serious though, it's only a 1-2 day shopping event to stock up on gifts and stuff, I hate going to a forum every single year and seeing a black friday thread. It's always talking about how dumb people are, when tbh if I had the money I would be out there too.
Well yeah, that's stupid. But it depends on the location, not all places are like that.Don't get me wrong, I'd go out there too if I get something with a huge discount, but I wouldn't run, push, jump, scream like a brain-dead consumer, that's all. And that's exactly what a lot of those ppl do.

US citizens love to exercise their constitutional right to run, push, jump & scream while getting huge discounts...it's how we prefer to start the holiday season.Don't get me wrong, I'd go out there too if I get something with a huge discount, but I wouldn't run, push, jump, scream like a brain-dead consumer, that's all. Where's your holiday spirit? *push*You've got to understand that the pushing and shoving doesn't happen everywhere. It might be different since I'm in a suburb, but I didn't see anyone camped outside stores. It's kind of fun going out on Black Friday.
