Black flames of Amaterasu don't live up their hype

Black flames of Amaterasu are said to be as hot as sun and to burn the target until it gets completely incinerated, but throughout the serie i've denumbered flaws in this logic, but not to make a long thread i'll just show you a memoral example of this

Black flames limits or flaws

Enton Magatamas which are in fact composed of black flames burnt a bunch of white Zetsus like you can see here:

Yet even after burning them, even after the black flames disappeared, you can notice that Zetsus body weren't desintegrated at all, and more importantly, some(if not all of them) were still alive:

So it seems that the black flames of Amaterasu don't really live up their hype. You can survive even if you get hit by the flames U_U

I am pretty sure Sasuke let that Zetsu live. In addition, he has used Amaterasu against only high-tier ninja: if Sasuke used it one a weaker ninja, insta-kill.

the only thing with amaterasu is they burn slowly so if it hits armor or clothing you have sometime to remove the burnt area but if they hit they will never extinguish unless caster removes them also them zetsus where still caught in amaterasu

I can see how what you just posted can seem true when taken out of context. But when pair with the following scans that I will show below you can draw the assumption that Sasuke cancel Amaterasu, much like he did when karin was accidently hit by hit Amaterasu, in order to place on of the zetsu's under a genjutsu and get information out of him.

My case in infact made in the very last scan I show where you can still see one of the Zetsu's being burnt up by the black flames. This would imply that the black flames was infact stopped in order for Sasuke to question said Zetsu.

Sasukes amaturasu flames burn slowly compared to itachis.

Remeber how quick itachis amaturasu burned through a brick of walls?
