"CATASTROPHE"
[Setting change: Root sub-department infirmary]
Narrator: Silence soon filled the infirmary as the Head iryou-nin concluded with the grave ANBU’s operation.
Head Root Iryou-nin: I managed to clear his body of all the poison and yet I could not stop the poison that has already spread
Head Root Iryou-nin: (In thought) It is out of my hands and is up to willpower
Head Root Iryou-nin: Danzou-sama must be informed at once..
[Setting change: Konohagakure no Sato forest]
Narrator: As the two ANBU grew nearer, they closed into their opponent’s location with not at all the expectation of what awaited them. Both ANBU abruptly come to a halt. Insei began to look around the area as if he lost sight of the two shinobi. Assailant #7 is then abruptly swallowed by what seemed to be a rapidly moving purple stream of something.

Child: No..what happened to me *panting* …why can I not remember?
Akio: You were on a premature mission with other Root members and almost died
Child: WHAT???!
Akio: When you were found..you had severe blows to your head and was taken back to our infirmary where you healed
Child: …How long was I out
Akio: A few months and when you awoke your memories were completely erased
Child: ..I don’t know if I believe you…
Akio: Oh..you did wake up here did you not? Have we not treated you well?
Child: I don’t know..my mind is clouded
Akio: It is your own decision whether to believe us or not but this is your home and that is the truth
Child: Do you know anything else about me?
Akio: You were an orphan before we found you..

Narrator: The child’s eyes shoot open as he was astonished by the ANBU’s false confession. Akio did as asked and exited the room.
Setting change: Danzou’s chamber
Narrator: Lost in reverie is where the elder leader resided. Thinking back to when Akio informed him about the child before his interrogation.
[ELASPED TIME]
[During child’s arrival]
Danzou: Come in
Akio: The child recovered faster than what we could have imagined and he is ready
Danzou: Good...
Danzou: (Continued) Haru
Haru: Yes Danzou-sama
Danzou: You are to bring me the interrogator
Haru: Understood
Akio: However…if you continue with the questioning, the child could become worse as the Head iryou-nin described

Narrator: Blood started to drip out of the wounded enemy shinobi as he fell onto the ground. However, before the enemy was to completely pass out did he form a hand seal. The ANBU made his way to the fallen enemy whilst his partner struggled with the other opponent.
Gakuya: You are agile and were able to distract us but don’t think we have lost
Kaitei: We will see about that
Insei: (To Kaitei via telepathy) It was a successful hit..and y-
Narrator: An explosion contiguously ensues the occupied area. The unknown shinobi #2’s formed hand seal ignited the many explosive tags attached to his body causing destruction within the forest. As the debris and smoke slowly cleared, what remained are Kaitei and the other shinobi on the ground seemingly dead. With a left arm and leg blown off, Insei barely clings to life as his wounds excessively bleed out.
Eleventh part will be released next week, same day, titled Repercussion (Look for it!).
