This Vanessa situation reminds me so much of Sanji and Vinsmokes with not going back and especially if the queen doesn't allow Vanessa to leave again so her teammates need to save her.

Would be funny if these characters gets featured in the anime OVA Black Clover is getting xd

glad I wasn't the only one who was surprised by that didn't want to write it since I am always some chapters behind so maybe I forgot...guess that's not the case haha!

They haven't appeared in the manga and I recently again read the entire series, so this is just absurd.

I searched around and it turns out these characters are from Black Clover Light Novel original characters by Yuiki Tabata. Although this silly writer still should have given the backstory /some kind of build-up and not assume that everyone knows them from a side story and their relationship with the characters in the manga. If it's trick to get more people to read the light novel, he is annoying.

Translation of the LN isn't available yet. Although speculation is that soon to be released OVA may be based on this story.
